2nd Sky Journey 🐺 The Shards 🐺 [Written]

[Some recent activities have brought a certain issue to the forefront of his mind.]

I have a question for all of you....

[There was a slight delay in his words]

If your crew were to gather all of the shards- what would you intend to do with them?

[Knowing all that they did now, it was possible that someone might try to use the power for ill-will. Not that anyone’s answers would alter Ratonhnhaké:ton’s plans. The shards, like Washington’s scepter could fall into the wrong hands. He wouldn’t trust it or them to anyone.]

Who knows. This plane is weird.

Plane. So that is what you call this world.. and the others? [Planeswalk. It made sense... he guessed. The ability to walk between worlds or planes.. was remarkable. The only thing that he could think of that was anywhere near similar to that was the Sky journeys.]

Correct. A plane is a world. Another reality in a near infinite sea of other worlds.

Just how many of these worlds have you traveled to?

[Voice]

No idea. Couple hundred, maybe? Most of them I only stay on for a day or so.

What is it that you journey for?

[Voice]

Because what else am I supposed to do? Given the power to walk between worlds, wouldn't you?

I thought there might be a deeper meaning to it than that. Some travel to seek enlightenment, others for entertainment. You just do it.. because you can?

I cannot say for certain. I think if I did travel to another world- I would have a purpose in mind. [And he had possessed a purpose when he had made the sky journeys. He wanted to save his people, and freedom itself.]

Well, it's exciting, and enlightening. I don't feel I need more meaning than that, but I find meaning in the traveling itself. I can gain power through the knowledge, and fun from the experience, make friends, and help causes that are important to me personally.

That's the meaning of travel to me. Through travel I can find anything, and everything, I might possible want.
