[Some recent activities have brought a certain issue to the forefront of his mind.]

I have a question for all of you....

If your crew were to gather all of the shards- what would you intend to do with them?

[Knowing all that they did now, it was possible that someone might try to use the power for ill-will. Not that anyone’s answers would alter Ratonhnhaké:ton’s plans. The shards, like Washington’s scepter could fall into the wrong hands. He wouldn’t trust it or them to anyone.]

It is that fact that troubles me the most...

It troubles me too... I mean we never know anything about him, or even what they'll do. I think not knowing is worse than knowing. At least with knowing there isn't that unknown part of them and know what they might be thinking or planning.

But with the unknown it's unnerving.

[Ratonhnhaké:ton had to agree with her. All this mystery was frustrating and it was not like the major players had given them opportunity to learn more about them through normal means]

All we can do for now is proceed with caution. I would be very surprised if Jones does not have ill-intent for that gem in mind.

I wouldn't be surprised personally. So we should really be more cautious and if we ever get a shard to just keep it hidden and hope that Davy Jones can't tell where it is.

But then it would be the case of how do we know if he is actually watching us or not? I mean we've never seen him and he never shows himself, so how are we to know.

There really is no way to know for sure. These journals themselves could be projecting our intentions to him. We believe that they are only in use when we call upon them but the origins of them are swaddled in mystery themselves.

So many mysteries surrounding both the journals and this place in general it makes me wonder if people are really as trusting as they appear.

I wonder that as well. I would like to believe that we can take people at their word but I already know that is not always the case.
