[He's quiet for a moment, thinking on Riku's words- because, thinking about it like that, he's reminded of something. He finally lets out a sigh, sounding just a bit...frustrated.
Guess...all they can do is try and keep themselves busy. Because, seriously, he's got half a mind to go and find the most tedious, mind numbing job on the ship. After a short pause, he glances back over at Riku. Maybe he's just...restless, too.]
Come on. [He slides off of his hammock and walks over to Riku, holding out a hand.]
[Frowns a little after him, but it's true that sitting around isn't doing anything other than allowing his thoughts to eat away at him and his nagging worry over Kairi to grow.
So he's quick to scramble out of the hammock and fall in line behind Sora.]
Oh... yeah, that's right! I gave you the other half.
[He steps into the kitchen, appearing not to think anything of Riku paying close attention. There's too much going on in his head, and that's kind of just...Riku.
After stepping further in, he turns to his friend.]
[Just kind of stares blankly at the sandwich ingredients, like he's lost in thought.]
When she comes back...you and I should do some Keyblade training with her. Actually work with her more. I know she was trying to do stuff on her own, but we're here. It's dumb if we don't help her, especially if it could prevent something like this from happening again.
[Pauses to stare down at the ingredients, as well, after those words.]
...Yeah. I agree. I'd planned to ask you to help me teach her, ...before everything happened. [Looks up at Riku, a somewhat firm expression in place.] So, as soon as she's back, let's do it!
[After Riku finishes speaking, he's moving to prop an elbow on the table, fingers idly fidgeting with one of the knives.]
Heh... [He looks up and offers Riku a smile and a matched firm nod.] Yeah. Let's do it.
[With that, he's slowly going through the process of tossing together a sandwich. It's nothing special, but he's barely even paying attention to the steps.]
[Action]
With that, he sits up and stares downward. Speaking in a quiet voice, his expression turns a tad bit sheepish.]
Heh...I know, but... [Closing the journal, he glances toward his friend.] ...Sorry, I guess it's just...starting to get to me.
[Action]
[Drops his journal onto his chest, crossing his arms over it.]
It's okay to feel messed up. In a normal situation, you'd be...you know. Mourning. Accepting it and moving on.
[He huffs out a breath, staring hard at the ceiling.]
It's the waiting that's the worst. The not knowing. It puts everything else on hold, and... [Groans and rubs his face.] Hell, it's stressful.
[Action]
Guess...all they can do is try and keep themselves busy. Because, seriously, he's got half a mind to go and find the most tedious, mind numbing job on the ship. After a short pause, he glances back over at Riku. Maybe he's just...restless, too.]
Come on. [He slides off of his hammock and walks over to Riku, holding out a hand.]
[Action]
Um. Okay?
[He grunts, pushing himself up and then swinging his legs over the side of the hammock.]
Where are we going?
[Action]
Anywhere that doesn't involve sitting around.
[Without giving Riku and chance to respond, he's already heading for the door. Okay, so, he has no idea where they're headed. Not yet, anyway.
But, even just a walk around the ship is better than nothing, at the moment.]
[Action]
So he's quick to scramble out of the hammock and fall in line behind Sora.]
That definitely sounds like a good idea to me.
[Action]
[He pauses just outside the room, arms folding behind his head. Well, they could raid the kitchen, or something.]
[Action]
I could maybe go for some food, I guess. You hungry?
[Action]
Heh...funny, I was just thinking the same thing.
[Action]
Well then. ...It's probably because neither of us has been eating much the past couple days.
[Action]
...Actually, I can't remember the last time I ate anything.
[Action]
[Not that Riku is keeping track or anything.]
[Action]
[He steps into the kitchen, appearing not to think anything of Riku paying close attention. There's too much going on in his head, and that's kind of just...Riku.
After stepping further in, he turns to his friend.]
So...what're you in the mood for?
[Action]
I dunno. Something that requires little to no effort to make. Even if it's just another sandwich.
[Action]
Actually, another sandwich sounds like a great idea.
[So, with that, he's moving to gather the supplies to make one. Once finished, he's dropping them onto the table and sitting down.]
[Action]
When she comes back...you and I should do some Keyblade training with her. Actually work with her more. I know she was trying to do stuff on her own, but we're here. It's dumb if we don't help her, especially if it could prevent something like this from happening again.

Re: [Action]
Alright. Good. We can come up with lesson plans in the meantime.
[That would give them something else to focus on, at least.]
[Action]
Heh... [He looks up and offers Riku a smile and a matched firm nod.] Yeah. Let's do it.
[With that, he's slowly going through the process of tossing together a sandwich. It's nothing special, but he's barely even paying attention to the steps.]
