The officials on this island are horrendous. I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect! All I wanted to know was a little more about this island that I've found myself on.
[ Aguri is a lady! ... a tiny one, but it doesn't matter! She's still quite perturbed at that along with being dropped in somewhere completely different. ]
I've only managed to gather what this island is for, what I should be looking for, and that both the locals and the officials are very unhelpful in anything informative about this. However, I've been given enough information to know that I'm not the only one that this has happened to? While that's comforting, it's also very disturbing, in a way that those from different worlds are forced on a treasure hunt.
But, if that's what it means to find a way home then I, Aguri Madoka, will do what it takes.

audio;
Regina tries to sound calm and composed, but happiness can be heard in her voice. ]
You've kept us all waiting!
audio
[ OH HEY. SHE KNOWS THAT
ANNOYINGVOICE. Wait, Aguri had no idea this journal thing could transfer voices too...Time to see if it works on her end too! ]
Us? Who is us? [ That might be a glimmer of hope in her voice. ] Are Mana and the other girls here as well?
audio
audio
audio
But! Mana has her very own ship! Isn't that cool?
audio
[ Oh yeah. That was mentioned in that entry in her little journal thing, wasn't it? Well, that doesn't seem very surprising at all considering the type of person Mana is... ]
You seem like you're enjoying sailing around this ocean, Regina.
voice;
[Oh. Goodness. Well, that makes the five of them, doesn't it? Somehow, she manages to sound less surprised than before. Perhaps this was becoming more expected?]
This is Alice. We had been wondering if you would arrive after all this time.
voice;
All this time? You sound like you've been here for awhile, Alice.
voice;
However, before pleasantries, I must ask you a very important question: What is it you recall before arriving here?
For context: Makoto-san, Mana, Rikka, and myself arrived here shortly after you joined us as a teammate.
voice;
[ For all the news that Aguri had been trying to prep for, that was not what she had been expecting at all.
There's a few moments of silence from the littlest Precure before she finally speaks up, very unsure about what info she's been given. ]
How is that possible? I don't remember any of you missing for months on end during that time...
voice;
[A light sigh.]
The aspect of time and space in this world versus our own is very peculiar. Mana and Rikka actually arrived two months before me, but... we all came from the exact same period of time. As did Makoto-san, but she only appeared last month.
[A pause.] Have you come from when our battles ended then, Aguri-chan?
[She keeps an even tone throughout all this. She's done this enough times already, both on the receiving and explaining end. After all the emotions the previous months' arrivals stirred up, she feels a need to check herself more this time. Further still because she figures Aguri would appreciate a calmer approach... for as little as Alice knows about her. She'd only known her for about a month before arriving, and was still adjusting to the thought of Cure Ace as their teammate. Yet this Aguri had been fighting with them for a much longer period of time...
That's definitely going to be some adjusting, there.]
voice;
[ Yes, a calm approach is much appreciated. Aguri does better when she can at least try to sort through everything and while her voice has a hint of uncertainty, she's still very composed. ]
Yes, that's correct. The final battle has passed for me.
voice;
[Another pause.] Our knowledge of what occurred is... limited, as you might understand. We have not pried into what Regina-san went through terribly much. We know she helped us, and that the spear which was once carried by the Princess evidently... ah, "chose" her, I do believe she said.
[Her tone softens.] It does not matter in the end though, I suppose. You are still you, and... with you here it means our entire team is. It's been a long time for me, Aguri-chan, and... a lot has happened. I really am happy to hear your voice again.
voice;
[ There's a moment of silence from Aguri. She's currently trying to rationalize in her heat the predicament that she, as well as Regina, are in. What kind of repercussions would telling the girls about all the revelations and knowledge that they had figured out before the final battle with Proto-Jikochuu.
As much as she wanted to just outright say what all transpired, she knew she had to treat this situation very delicately. ]
If it's been five months, I can only imagine how much all of you have gone through in my absence. But, even if it's been that long, I am very relieved to hear that you all are okay.
voice;
For the moment, that you are here and can join us is the most important thing, however!
[She stops another moment, a bit of uncertainty flashing through her thoughts. "Okay." Yes, the were "okay," but... No, she didn't yet want to dump all of that on Aguri.]
We have been through an... awful lot, yes. [Uncharacteristically, her tone wavers just a bit at that, and she mentally curses herself. Here she was thinking she'd gotten better at it, yet every time someone she knew arrived...] That is to say, it has not been easy. There are just as many dangers here as our home world, if not... potentially deadlier ones.
We are alright now, however. [How truthful or not that comment may be is masked by Alice slipping back into her typically peaceful tone.] And I am certain Mana will be quite happy to have you here. [A pause, and a slight laugh.] Assuming of course you do not intend to take another path around here.
voice;
Still, she doesn't say anything about it for now. Better to breach the topic when appropriate, and right now was not that time. ]
I'm not entirely sure that there is any other path for me here. If all of you are here, it's only natural that I join you all after all is said and done.
[ It's said in a matter of factly tone, but at the same time, Aguri wasn't going to be separated from her team mates unless it was absolutely necessary. ]
voice;
That is what I would hope, at least. It will be nice to finally have all of my friends together again. It has been missed dearly.
[A gentle sigh, and she continues:] And the strength that comes from that is something I know we will need. Some of those dangers seem to be creeping up on us as we speak...
voice;
[ Aguri is quite concerned about what's going on. Any and all information pertaining to this world is something that she needs to know, as well as what she should do in case of a problem. ]
voice;
There is... a terrible sort of magic in this world. It can make you preform acts you would never wish, or transform you in terrible ways...
[A breath, and she continues.] Rikka, Mana, and myself... all of us have been afflicted by such things at various points here. We... [She trails off, an attempt to keep her normally polite and even tone something of an obvious struggle. Distance from the things she did helped in being able to talk about them, but only so much.] We have been made to do terrible things, Aguri-chan.
audio;
[So she's shown up as well... And with that, the whole team was now here.]
So you're here too now. Ah, well, are you alright?
[She assumes so, but it's best to check if she'd actually made it in one piece.]
audio;
[ There might be a bit of annoyance in Aguri's voice, but, hearing Makoto, even if she had been made aware of her existence in this world, allows her another sense of relief to wash over her. ]
It's good to hear from you, Makoto. Ai-chan's here with me as well. I think she wants to say hi.
[ There might be the sound of baby Ai cooing happily in the background, because why not. ]
audio;
Eh, Ai-chan is here too? I see... Hello, Ai-chan! [Though obviously the smile on Makoto's face isn't visible through the journal, it's audible in her voice as she addresses the little
deus ex machinababy.] I'm glad you two showed up together. The thought of Ai-chan alone in a world like this...audio;
[ The little baby fairy makes another cooing noise from the background, content knowing that soon she'll be with the rest of the group with no problems. Aguri, herself, is rather relieved as well when she answers back. ]
She's not alone. Even if I hadn't come with her, she would still have found her way to you four. I know she would have.
audio;
I'm... really glad you are here, though. It'll be good to have the team all together again. Not only am I sure it will improve our chances of returning home, but... Well, it seems best to stick together in this place.
voice;
voice;
[ Because that's what Ai-chan is. Really. ]
All because I appeared on the island with all the newcomers.
voice;
[voice]
Welcome to Isla Empieza, Aguri.
[She sounds... tired, and a little suspicious. But even through that, there's a note of relief. No more questions. No more waiting. One last awkward explanation before she could truly put all this behind her. Everything... was coming to a head.]
[voice]
It's a strange welcome, but, hearing all of you has put me at much more ease.
[voice - at a pitch so high it's just shy of only being able to be heard by dogs]
Our entire team is here...! Oh my gosh...! This is amazing...!
[voice]
[ Aguri's not expecting Mana to sound that excited to hear from her. Why she wasn't was a slight on her part, and it sends her book tumbling from her hands before she picks it back up and clears her throat.
No, hearing Mana that excited didn't make her happy. Because now it meant that she had physically heard all their voices. It's good. Very good. ]
You're really happy, Mana...
[ GOTTA BE CALM AND COOL ABOUT IT Although really Aguri is becoming more and more happy about this. ]
