-It's a full moon out. And you hear a definite, distinct howling.

And normally this would be a frightening, hair raising horror. Because werewolves are scary, right? But something about this just sounds... lonesome.

For those on the ship, there's something cool about watching her take up a perch, howling at the moon's elegant light. Some might even say she looks gorgeous in that light, in spite of how she tries to hide how furry she gets during the full moon...

Though eventually, she realizes that she had meant to put something else in the journal, before her instincts took over. At least none of them could see her, but... Hopefully no one would ask what that was.-

Um... Can we just pretend none of you all saw that? That would probably best... Sorry to wake any of you up! It's one thing to do this on a ship, but for everyone out there in the ether to hear it too... How embarrassing.

Yeah... we howl at the moon to signal to other wolves... which is pointless, for me, really. I'm the last of my kind... the last of the Honshuu Werewolves. No one will be calling back.

[Vampires in Shibata, Werewolves in Honshuu.. oi... how has this been going on with no one noticing it? You could feel the pain in her words...]

.. I don't want to give you false hope, but it's incredibly difficult to wipe out an entire species. So.. whatever happened, you might not actually be the last.

It's a nice thing to think about, but... Even if there are more of us out there, I don't think they're on this world.

Probably not. [He huffed] No one else is here from where I'm from either. That might be for the best though... least they don't have to deal with this mess.

Not currently, but I have a really bad feeling about what could be to come.

How are you getting along over there? [If someone was going around wiping out werewolves in Honshuu this might be an improvement for her situation]

It's pretty nice on this ship... all the other girls are really nice, our Captain is fair, and I have Seki-chan here with me.

[He wondered whether this was another crew consisting of abut high school aged kids or lower... ]

They must be pretty understanding too.. [Or they might not be as nice to a werewolf] Seki-chan?

Seki-chan is a friend from back home! She's also a youkai, but a rokurokubi instead.

Of course she is. [Sheesh what is with this place. Werewolves, vampires, demons... maybe there's some kind of pattern in all this. Is anyone normal? He wasn't really looking forward to seeing that... neck stretching ability, but least it wouldn't come as such a surprise if he did encounter it.]

What about the rest of the crew, do they possess any unique skills or abilities?

Now that you mention it... other than Trucy-san's sleight-of-hand, they're all just normal humans.

Sleight-of-hand eh? This Trucy is some kind of magician?

[Might as well get any intel from the other ships that he can.]

Calling her a magician feels weird, because where I come from that implies actual sorcery and magic, not... trickery. But that's what she calls herself.

She's pretty nice, too! Nicest magician I've ever met, anyways, which I know isn't saying much, but still.

That's... really about it. I dunno about the silver thing, but I've never been bothered by it. Not that I'm inviting anyone to strike me with it just to test the theory.

Well.. if it was a silver bullet, we'd all take damage from that. That wouldn't be creature exclusive.

I think you'll find, there are a lot different species here, and people will be more accepting of your kind overall.
