[Korra's voice is panicked as her journal is whipped open. She isn't even directing the words specifically at the open book, now.]

Asami, just- Try to get more water! Or something! We can't afford burn through all of the fresh barrels, either!

[There's definitely something going on in the background. The clanging of pots and pans, the wild shuffling of (two?) makeshift pirates, and... is that a fire crackling? Finally, Korra's voice is loud and clear over the journal.]

Guys, we need some help down in the kitchen! We... I... kind of set it on fire. Like. Really on fire. [Then she's gone again for a moment-] And if anyone not on the ship can hear this... Advice?? Please?! [There's only so much water to be bent at her disposal.]

[She'll find Korra and Asami desperately trying to keep the flames under control. Totally not Korra's fault. Nooope...]

[Leanne's wings ruffled at the sight of the flames and then the sharp order.]

But you are still in here. [And oh goddess! Two beorcs she hasn't met but are in danger in the heron's mind and she won't leave them behind..]

What in the goddess name happened in here? [And can she help even though she has very little but very personal experience with fire?]

I was trying to make dinner go faster with firebending, but- Well, it's kind of obvious. And I can bend the fire around myself and not get burned. We just have to save the ship-

[Oh! Someone else that came to help. Asami frowns as she tries to wave away some of the smoke blowing in her direction, then she kneels down to open up one of the bottom cupboards. Look, she found a salt shaker! Ugh.

Second times a charm. Now she finds a decent sized box of the stuff and tosses it to Korra]

Here! It might not be enough, but it'll do for the time being. I'll try to find more. [Then turning to Leanne] You wouldn't happen to know where they store the salt?
