Has anyone seen this?



[Believe it or not, he has actually put effort into this drawing, but a dragon is not a battle diagram.]

It was looking for a skinny kid with brown hair.

[Marvelous claps his journal shut and looks up. He doesn't know that Sasuke's there, but he assumes.]

[He is laughing. Probably at you, Sasuke.

No, he never showed anyone else that drawing of Gokai-Oh he gave to Gibbs. He hopes Gibbs didn't either.]

[Of course he's there, leaning out over a spar to stare down at him in some confusion.]

[He looks at the entry Marvelous has his journal open to, then opens his own to look at his drawing. Is it seriously that hard to tell?]

It's a dragon. It's got wings and a tail.

I've seen dragons.

[He shakes his head. He snorts.]

That's not a dragon.

[thethundersaid]

... maybe the dragons in your world look different.

[At least it seems to be the case that there are all kinds of things that people call dragons across different worlds. That, and Sasuke is trying not to acknowledge exactly how terrible the drawing is.]

Well, mine was also a giant robot.

So... probably.

Still, you might wanna stick to killing stuff.

A -- robot. Right. Of course it was. [He's starting to develop a solid deadpan to these things.] I assume it also flew and breathed fire.

[He folds his arms at that last, though, frowning.] What's that supposed to mean?

It did, actually!

[Marvelous scratches his head, and then shrugs.] Well.

[A beat.] Drawing sure doesn't look to be up your alley.

[thethundersaid]

[He's somehow not surprised. He's also not even going to bother asking exactly how a robot flew and breathed fire, because he really doesn't expect to get an answer.

Instead, he directs a nettled look at Marvelous, though by now he's heard enough commentary on his drawing that it's only half a glare.]

Drawing was never something that was useful to focus in. I can draw a battle diagram just fine.

[Marvelous... gives him a thumbs up.]

Might wanna stick to that.

I wasn't planning to do otherwise. [Definitely miffed.]

[A smirk.]

Either way, wonder if it found what it was looking for?
