...I mean pets. That aren't birds.

[He'd ask this in person, but there are a lot of people in his crew and he doesn't feel like asking them individually. Also someone'll claim the crow's nest if he gets out of it.]

Well, I don't mind it. But it really falls onto the Captain and the people on your ship.

[If he ever sees him, he'll probably end up playing with the dog. He likes dogs.]

I haven't gotten one yet, so I don't know what it's name will be.

I have one back home...his name is Pow, but it would be kinda weird to give another one the same name. But no, I haven't really thought about it.

A friend of mine had named her's Taro.

At least you're not one of those people who just call them by numbers.

Here's what they look like. They're supposed to be meat-eaters, but they'll eat table scraps too...

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't eat the turkey. They're not wild.

Well, I have my polar bear-dog Naga with me. She's great with other animals, even if they're smaller. As for the whole ship... I don't think anyone really minds.

[vysecaptain]

[Well, he knows what a dog is, at least, though not what a polar bear is. Though at least one pole in his world is icy, so he's going with some sort of snow-dwelling dog animal. If he's seen it around, he's not given it much thought.]
