Has anyone else just wanted to stay on every island they visited? I like sailing, and I like my crew, but both the islands I've been to have been so peaceful in comparison to the things that happen when we're at sea.

I kind of just want to stay here and drink the sweet water and swim forever.

I wonder what would happen if I did.

In all honesty, though, a person in our position should only see themselves fit to retire once their goals are reached. Otherwise you will abandon everything.

I've heard that some of the islands got destroyed, and then there was what happened at Impieza too.

I spelled that wrong, didn't I? Empieza? Something like that.

I guess I forgot for a moment. It's so comfortable here, and I've really missed being able to practice.

At home I would have, but I'm not sure about here! I don't feel hungry or tired, no matter how long I swim. It's... nice.

Hm... I don't really know! I mean, I've got plenty of favorite things, so if I did get bored I'd just switch.

I guess it would still be lots of fun, though. But is swimming really that fun for you?

I'm not sure. At home I suppose I would have had to start thinking about that soon. I did okay in school, and I really like observing different kinds of things, like nature. But I don't think I have any really solid goals.

but wow, you must really love swimming! can't say i blame you. swimming's pretty fun, and i wouldn't mind if there was more time for exploring different islands either.

I do really love swimming! I'm on a swim team at home, and practice is one of my favorite times of the day, even if I'm not the best or anything.

So far I've only been to a couple of islands, but they were really nice. I got to see a unicorn on the other one, and this one is just... peaceful.

a swim team? so is that like a club or something for people who swim a lot?

can't say i've ever seen a unicorn before, but it sounds pretty cool! we've been to a few islands, too. there was this one that was kinda neat. everything curved around this big mountain, and there was a forest full of trees with wind chimes hanging off them so it sounded like the trees were playing music.

yeah, me too. back home there really isn't much chance for me to do a lot of traveling, so while i'm here, i want to see as much as possible.
