Fourth Rose: Attack on Candies [Audio]

[Suddenly there is a lot of commotion going on and things fall over or get knocked into. The sound of metal coming in contact with…something can be heard. The contact sounds pretty small, but there is someone who sounds pretty frustrated by it all.]

Damnit-- [That sound of metal ringing can be heard again.] Why aren't you--

[He gets cut off, but this time there is choking and coughing to be heard and the person seems to have bumped into something. The coughing and wheezing continues for a while.]

Damn candies...

[Her not crying really shows him how strong she is. If he had known it was much longer than that, he would have worried. That's a long time to not speak to anyone.]

*Selphie looks up at him, her confusion obvious. She thought that she's been over this. He was under the influence of a candy, and she wasn't. Sure, she hadn't fully embraced him or anything like that, but Selphie knows she should have just stepped away instead of allowing it to happen. So slowly she just shakes her head, because she doesn't really have the energy to want to argue about this*

[He sees the confusion, and doesn't mind that she is.]

Because it's mine, and...I'm sorry. So don't blame yourself.

*Clearly Selphie isn't going to be able to change his mind, so she sighs gently and tries a weak smile*

Okay. I'll accept that apology, even if I think you don't need to make it but... You're not too upset, or annoyed, or bothered by this, or anything?

*After all, he kissed her against his will, and that really might not be a great thing for him. She doesn't want him feeling horrible that he did it, anyway*

[Very little makes Aya change his mind. Her question, though, is a loaded one.]

No, I'm fine. [He didn't mind what happened, but she didn't need to hear that. He was fine, though, in the end.]

[He pulls away from her, smiling faintly.] Stay if you want. I'm just... [Aya looks around the room, at the knocked over items.] Going to clean a bit.

*Mostly, Selphie is just glad that he isn't disgusted by what he did, or that it didn't give him any kind of strong, horrible feelings. So fine was good enough for her*

I'll help.

*So she silently goes about picking things up, putting them where it seems like they had fallen from*

[Aya rights a few things in the process, seeing Selphie put some items in a new place. He figures he could fix them later. As long as they were off the floor. Then he remembers the roses.]

Don't forget to take back your flowers.

*Oops, sorry about that Aya, but she wasn't being especially observant when she came in. Selphie smiles at mention of the roses and she picks up the jug carefully*

Look at that, Aya - your act of kindness saved your life.

[Aya definitely notices that earlier and grins.] Probably the best gift I've ever given.

*Smiling is good. And Selphie looks much better now that smiling is a thing that is happening. She takes two roses from the jug and hands them over to him*

Here. You should keep these with some water, just in case.

[Aya takes the roses, flattered that she would do such a thing. Usually, only fangirls try to give him flowers, but this was different.]

Just in case. Thank you. [Who knows when he'll choke again.]

*Don't worry, Aya, Selphie can be a fangirl for you if you like. Still, she actually manages a small quiet laugh, and feels much better than she did a few moments ago*
