Second Log Written
I know I skipped a few months in coming here but this is the day the Yamato set sail in my time. A lot had happened in those few months. I'd learned things that certainly challenged my views on the war we'd been fighting.
[Believe or not by comparison the two and a half months he's been here have been much less dangerous than the that same span of time during the Yamato's mission. The Pirate Witch had nothing on the traps laid by the Gamilas ]
I know another group has arrived. I know you won't like to hear this but getting this jewel is going to be a long mission, maybe longer than the one I was on back home. There's going to be setbacks the journey to Iscandar showed that. [Captain Okita would likely have said they were being tested. The question of "would you have come if you knew the truth?" was something he was still trying to answer.]
It's easy to be upset but if I know for my self if I spend time worrying I'll go crazy. We're here now, so I'm going to believe we'll return because that's the promise we made to the earth when we left.
