[The handwriting that filled the page was, for the most part, neat and compact. Some letters had over-exaggerated lines, but it wasn't difficult to read.]
From the other entries I see in this book, I believe it is safe to assume there are more people on the other side of this thing? This thing is unlike any I have encountered before, but I have seen things in the last day that shifted my views of impossible.
[He's not actually sure any of you exist, so excuse the slight rambling.]
If any have an understanding of how I found my way here, I would like an explanation. The writing at the beginning of this book is in a language I have not learned. [He's not convinced it is a language at all. Nor is he convinced this isn't a dream from the Apple... speaking of.]
Al Mualim, if this is another illusion from your treasure, I will find my way out and stop you.

Irony. Besides the fact that even before the trips to the Sky World, Ratonhnhaké:ton had lived an entirely different life already when he sort of had an experience like that that convinced him to become an assassin in the first place. One thing was for certain and that was that this new arrival was experiencing the same level of confusion and disorientation that he had.]
It is difficult to get used to but that is correct. Anything you write in this journal can be seen by anyone with a journal of their own.
We were all brought here for the same purpose.. to find and reconstruct an allegedly powerful object, that a man name Davy Jones wants to get his hands on. It is also supposed to be the only thing that can send us home.

Nevermind that Altair had no idea were the Old Man would have gotten the idea.]The story stays the same even as the rest changes. I have had enough of treasures with unknown powers.

The Sky journeys were another story.. but how else was he supposed to combat that scepter?]Written

[The shades Al Mualim had summoned had really been his Brothers, disguised by the Apple's power. Perhaps this was similar?]

[There's a warning for you. Do with it what you'd like.]
To be concerned about being trapped in an illusion, yours must have been a strange kidnapping. Are you from the Near East?
[Just going by the name 'Al Mualim'. That certainly held an Eastern flare. ]

Although that did explain why he'd heard voices when there hadn't been any near.]I thank you for the information. I shall be cautious with my words around it.
It has been a strange fortnight. [Understatement.] I hail from the Holy Land. [Not the exact truth, but he wasn't convinced this wasn't a trap yet.]
Written
[Don't worry, it really only gets stranger from here on in.]
The Holy Land on Earth? It is a odd question I grant you but there are some who claim to be from other worlds and they all hold to their own religious ideas.
Written
I am afraid I do not understand. What sort of creature stole us? [Speaking of treasures of immeasurable power, he checked the Apple in his pouch quickly to ensure it was still powered off..]
Yes, I believe that is what we call our world. [There were people of different faiths here? He couldn't believe that they wouldn't be warring with each other. That seemed to be all the Christians and Muslims did.] There are no wars between those who follow each belief to show who is right?
Written
[Stories only, not necessarily to be taken at face value.]
We have been too busy fighting against the Navy and other Pirates to worry over religion. There is always some new enemy to face, whether religion is involved or not.
The Holy Land has always been a highly charged area, what was the year?
Written
[More words he didn't understand. This was getting old fast.]
It is the year 1191.
Written
[1191. That was ancient!]
You would have been thick in the middle of the, it would have been the Third Crusade? King Richard and his loyal Christians versus Saladin and his Saracen hordes. Were you involved with much of the fighting yourself?

Sorry! Work has had me tied down for the last few days.
And I was sick, its been a rough week.
I blame February
February is evil, this is fact
This conversation is not going to end well.
It never does.

I'm more interested in keeping people from over reacting to being brought here and wrecking something. Destroying important sections of inhabited islands tends to attract the Navy.
