Thinking about getting that haircut after all. I'm open to suggestions, but hey, maybe I'll just shave it all off and start over!
[Unlike Marco, he's not making idle threats. His hair really is getting to be too long and it's starting to get on his nerves. Unfortunately, if he just goes and gets it cut, he's going to have a riot on his hands, so he might as well give everyone fair warning.]
If you haven't seen it, imagine a handsome young man with the biggest, reddest, angriest hedgehog you can think of stuck to his head and that would be this guy.

This isn't the clock tower and all I have is some left over oatmeal, so maybe this isn't gonna be the best lesson Professor Lea's ever taught, but bear with me, okay?
[Lea scratches at the back of his head and tries to put the right words together, because he's pretty sure he's only going to get one chance at this before Roxas gets another one of those ideas in his head and they end up fighting.]
Changing how you look is pretty normal. People do it all the time, sometimes not even on purpose. See?
[He tugs down the collar of his shirt a little to show the tan line there. They've been at sea long enough for that sort of thing to be inevitable.]
Having long hair is starting to bug me, so I'm gonna cut it. That's all it is.
[Action]
People change how they look. He really has no right to complain, does he?]
Okay.
[He can be proud, he even said that evenly.]

I told you you should come too. Dye your hair blue like that bird of yours or something.

Dye my hair?
[He gives his head a bit of a shake.]
No. I don't think I want to go.

Spoilsport. Woulda been fun.
[If Roxas is going to be stubborn, he's going to be stubborn right back.]

[Honestly, it would be pretty fun. That, and it would give Roxas a chance to assert his own identity a bit.]

[He's not objecting to dyeing his hair, but more Lea's hair. He's never given much thought to changing his hair.]
[Action]
Listen, I'm going to do it, okay? Get mad at me as much as you want.
[Action]
[He's frustrated, but not with Lea. He shouldn't be mad at Lea, after all, it's Lea's hair.]

Fine. I guess it'll just be a surprise.

If...if you want me to, I'll go with you Lea.

[It's startlingly honest for Lea, but if he gives Roxas an out, he'll take it. Having Roxas go with him is the only way he can think of to take the sting out of it for him and even that's not guaranteed to work.]

[Because Roxas can't really deny Lea a genuine request. He might have concerns, he might find it uncomfortable, but if Lea really wants him to go, he will. He's not sure how it'll be, but he knows he really really shouldn't care.]
