Week 22
Well then seems like yer all alive and accounted for. Good job sendin' her back where she belongs and good riddance. Thank'ee for bein' reasonably kind to my idiot apprentice whose gone back off to do his booky things so yer stuck wi' me. Still recoverin' a bit. Got a sinus infection on top a everythin', but Dog's alright, Dog's alright. Let's get back ta th' usual then, shall we?
News
Navy's back in full force. Gonna be scoutin' around the West doin' patrols and hittin' hard. I wouldn't take it lightly if I were you since I heard they used their holin' up time to develop some new techniques ta deal wi' ye lot. Especially as they seem to have figured out dyin' isn't exactly permanent. Not a good thing for them ta know but it is what it is and ye'll just ha'e to trounce em or avoid gettin' captured.
Heard some pirate groups are massin' in the South East so I'd watch out for 'em, too. What I'd really do is go in and break 'em up afore they can start allyin' which means trouble fer ye, but that's yer business, not mine.
Weather
North: Be expectin' gale force winds ta come up around mid-week, coupled with snow so fast ye can't see yer hand in front 'o ye. Be prepared to furl sail and weigh anchor, though it's probably better if ye make harbor somewhere.
West: Dry'n cold. The bitter kind and the wind don't help none. Will whick right through yer bones if ye aren't wearin' somethin' warm.
East: Wet, but just a lotta rain. Warmer'n usual temperatures'll cause a lot 'o thunderheads and maybe even a typhoon on Saturday so keep that in mind.
South: Almost a paradise this time 'o year with temperatures balmy and calm. Might hit doldrums now and again so I hope ye lot are ready to row.
An' that's what I got fer ye. Ye get one question as usual and I don' wanna hear, oh but Meep g'es us everythin' we ask fer. He's also a door mat which the Dog hain't so suck it up and deal wi' it.
[and not too long later]
Th' crew' o' the Triton's Mistress not only be banned but won't even catch a glimmer o' what the Dog says for th' next three months, not that it'll bother that little know-everythin'.
Anyone else want ta come up with a complaint? Ship it somewhere else.

[Link's voice faded out as the sound of another book's pages being turned came in loud and clear - he'd set it on top of the journal for convenience. It took him almost a minute to flip every page in search of something that looked similar in title if not exact because he didn't recognize that name.]
I don't have that exactly. I have 'The Girl with Golden Wings'. I can play that for you if it is close enough.

Tch- as far as I've seen you don't know much about any subject. Sure you deliver these weekly messages but what good do they do? Really? Like the weather is so damned important...
[
Yeah, someone is agitated about something and he's taking it out on who ever happens to be there]They haven't prevented anything, they haven't brought us any closer to what we actually want to accomplish.

[He's missed you, can't you tell.]
Here's a tip: next time you know shit like that may go down, warn us before it happens, not in the middle of it.

[This isn't really going as planned... Not that he had any plan to begin with.]
... I guess you weren't completely useless back there, so...
[Why is gratitude so hard oh god.]
