[It's been awhile since they made their last comments to the journal from inside the kraken, and since then they've busted out, nearly drowned getting to the surface, and then probably nearly drowned all over again in their search for land, but they've finally managed to find an island and Sanji has basically been a collapsed pile of shitty jelly on the beach for a good hour or so now.
It's a combination of hunger and the absence of sound (read: Luffy) that finally has him groaning and forcing himself to sit up, plus he figures they should probably update their nakama on their status again, since it's been a good day or two since they've spoken to any of them.
...And seriously, where the hell did Luffy fuck off to?
Well. Whatever.
Sanji tiredly pulls out his journal, flips it open to whatever blank page it decides to land on, and leaves his message.]
Yo. Still ain't dead. On an island who the hell knows where. I think we—
[A sudden, familiar sounding "Wahoo!" interrupts him from somewhere, and Sanji looks around to see a dust cloud in the distance. He stares at it, watching as it gets bigger and bigger.
"SaaaAAAAAAANNNNNNN—"
...Ah, shit. He knows who that is. But.
Is that...?
"—JJJJJJIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!"
Annnd that's about when a big ol' turtle zooms by with Luffy sitting cheerily on the damn thing's shell, until it crashes smack into Sanji and sends the journal flying from his hands.]

Thank you for your kindness, Sanji. Er... Would you prefer that I called you Mister Sanji, perhaps?
[Because now apparently she's "Elsa-san" and while she's still not sure what that means, it sounds almost like an honorific of some sort. She remembers that in some cultures those could go after the name rather than before, but it's mostly a wild guess on her part.]
Honestly, I don't have real experience, just enough to be able to navigate in a sailboat and know my way on a bigger ship. I never got to sail, but I was prepared to be able to do so, and I know my way on a ship, of course, as I said, what I have studied pales in comparison to real sailing.
As for exciting islands... I found Musical Catfish Island pretty enjoyable, but I'm not sure if it qualifies for what a man used to adventures considers exciting.
[Voice]
[He can feel the headache coming on already...]
Anyway, just Sanji is fine. And you'd be surprised, even having just the most basic shitty knowledge of sailing is probably more than what half the people who show up here can claim. So you're already miles ahead! Plus you took off all on your own... Elsa-san is amazing~!!
[Voice]
[She's not really surprised though.]
Well, if just Sanji is fine, wouldn't just Elsa be fine as well?
[She can't help to feel awkward if she uses no honorific while others use one with her, not because she's not used to it, of course she is, but she's no longer in any position that requires that. She's no longer a queen, she's not even a noble, specially in a world where Arendelle doesn't exist.]
You flatter me, Sanji, thank you. But I find it more amazing to brave the unknown as directly as you all are, I may have sailed alone, but it's for a short time and not with exploration or adventure in mind.
[Voice]
[Oh, Elsa. If only that's how it worked.]
Nah...Elsa-san is Elsa-san~!
[Not that he'll elaborate. She's probably stuck with the honorific, though it's more a nickname than anything.]
Adventure is the best part of setting out on the seas! You're not interested in that kind of thing?
[Voice]
I see... Does he... How determined can he be in those cases? When he asks someone to join his crew, is it something he forgets over time or...
[She had been counting on that, on him forgetting or that he would find something more interesting that would make him lose interest in wanting her on his crew. But now she's not very sure that's going to happen.]
Oh... No, I'm not the adventurer type, that territory would belong to my sister. She would have probably jumped at the chance of sailing those seas for the adventure.
[Her voice trembles as she talks of Anna, but her love for her sister is apparent even if there's a hint of anxiety.]
I, however, prefer more relaxed activities. Once I reach my destination I don't expect to leave it.
[Voice]
Ah...he can be pretty damn determined. Actually... [Slight pause as he thinks.] ...Yeah, I'm pretty sure the majority of our crew back home said no to joining him before they said yes. Hell, I know I did.
But it's not so much that he's too persistent or anything. All of us are with him because we want to be. Luffy's an idiot, but you don't have to be around him long to realize there's something in him that draws others in. But it goes both ways, we all support each other and shit. We're nakama.
[He makes a thoughtful sound, noting that tremble in her voice.]
Your sister sounds lovely... [AND THEN, sudden question—] Do you have a dream, Elsa-san?
[Voice]
[A brief pause before she adds, hastily and slightly nervous.]
Of course, if you don't want to answer, that's perfectly alright. I understand that I'm prying where I don't belong to.
[The question about a dream catches her by surprise, specially since she was thinking about Anna. And probably because of that her mind betrays her for a moment. A dream... Her dream, something that she desires over anything else, and it's not an ice palace lost and alone somewhere, it's not even a particular place but just... To be with Anna, like when they were kids, to be with her sister and have fun with her powers. To not have to hide from others, to be able to share and celebrate that which made her different without the fear of hurting Anna or anyone else. Besides Anna, it doesn't matter who the others would be, so long as they would be people who would accept her as she is, and not be scared of her powers or call her a monster.
It takes her a moment too long to regain control over herself before she replies, her voice like crystal, firm but fragile at the same time, a shield from her own thoughts.]
I have a goal.
[Not a dream. That dream is not for hers to reach for.]
[Voice]
[He goes quiet for a moment, thinking of how to answer her question.]
I have a goal, too. A dream. Somewhere I want to go. It doesn't really apply in this place, but back home it's something of a shitty myth. A legend. Most people I meet don't give it the time of day, and even if they've heard of it they don't believe it exists. Luffy, though. He listened to me when I told him about it. If out of everyone in the whole damn world there's only 1% who actually believe this place is real, he's part of that group of morons. That kind of faith is rare, and even more rare is the kind of belief he has in us, not just whatever crazy dreams we all have.
And he makes you have the same belief in him. You know he'll help you, and you know you'll help him.
...Eh, shit, sorry, I'm waxing poetic over here. Actually, if you want to get specific, I wasn't gonna go with Luffy because I thought I...owed a debt to someone. This ol' crap geezer who saved my life once—but anyway. Turns out the old man wanted me to leave. To find my dream. It was...a dream we shared.
Tell you what, though, I would've been pissed as hell at myself if I'd stayed. I knew that even then.
[Voice]
[Not in her case though. Then again if she expresses it by wanting "a place where she will be able to be free and belong to" and nothing else... It could work for both things. In some ideal world where she wouldn't be a constant danger.
She listens with attention, a small part of her dreading more and more the chance that Luffy would find her. Even if she's convinced that even if he does, her power will be enough to show that she can't follow him. No matter how he seems to draw people, no matter how much faith he seems to have.]
I think I can imagine that... I don't know how your life before meeting Luffy was, but I can see how turning back to that chance would be a big regret.
[She can easily see anyone wondering even just a minute after the decision has been made about the "what if" scenarios in which they would have gone with him. But she's not like that, she knows well how the "what if" scenario is... And she's already heading for her goal. There's nothing for her to chase.]
Thank you, Sanji. I honestly didn't expect such a complete answer, it's more than I could have asked for. I wish I had something to gift you withto show my gratitude.
[She sighs.]
It seems I seriously underestimated Luffy.
[Voice]
Anytime, Elsa-swaaaaaan~!! No need to show any gratitude -- unless you want to! I'm just happy to help!
...Heh, besides, you're not the first one to do that. Everyone underestimates Luffy when they first meet him.
[Voice]
You've been of great help, indeed. I've been wondering about what kind of person Luffy is exactly, I think I have a better idea now even if it's still far incomplete.
[She smiles, feeling a bit less ashamed for having underestimating him. Though the worry remains of him managing to find her, but what are the chances? All he knows is that she's going somewhere with no people and about which some people have heard rumors about. There are surely many places like that, deserted islands fully linked of legends and rumors.]
I guess it's easy to do so, hm? Specially when your first contact with him is when he's being all calm and carefree while inside the stomach of a monster.
