[Voice - Action for the Koumyou] Guess who's back?

[There's a small crash as a journal has fallen onto the deck of the Koumyou, in the middle of the night. Then there's a voice, a familiar voice but it's a little deeper, Clementine sounds a little older.

She's not yet aware that her surroundings have changed and for those that come to see her she's splattered with blood on her face and her hands and her left sleeve is soaked through. Clementine is about a head taller, as she's no longer nine, but eleven.

Her voice is strong and defiant and she'd been in the process of turning around.]

I'm still. Not. Bitten.

[She's breathing a little hard from exertion.]

What party is that?

[Clementine isn't sure how she feels about having a party, however she's also not at home and she needs to engage in her surroundings. She'll feel better after a long rest, to be sure.]

Someone's birthday?

[Aiichiro had just assumed she knew, since he thought Hajime came up with the idea a while back. Though he supposes that it's been two years for Clementine, that's a pretty good reason not to remember something so trivial.]

Oh, um, yes! Rin-senpai's. Hajime-chan is all excited about it of course. Not that you probably feel like a party right now, but I just meant...

[He's falling all over himself trying to have a conversation with a little girl. This has to be a new low for him, and he's not usually that awkward. He sighs.]

You know. That it'd be nice to get back into the swing of things around here.

[It's a little awkward for her too, coming back. To them not much time has passed, but to her it's been a long time.]

Right, sure. A party could be good.

I hope so. I think everyone could use something positive but...

[He pauses.]

You know, if it's too much for you, I'm sure everyone would understand if you didn't do much! It must be really weird, huh?

It's a little weird, yeah, but I'll be fine. I'm just really tired.

Maybe I should let you rest?

[He smiles softly.]

But if you need anything, or you just want company sometime, you can just ask me, okay? Things are a little weird on the ship right now, but I'll be there for you if you need anything. If you want.

Yeah, I think I should rest before I try and really talk to people.

[She returns the smile, just a little.]

[He nods, then reaches out to gently brush his hand against her arm, not quite bold enough to go for a hug, or even really grasp her. He knows her world is difficult and scary, and she'd arrived badly, and he doesn't want to be upsetting.]
