Unfortunately not; magical spellbooks are considered books, and not magical novelties. Textbooks in particular are 10 doubloons apiece, however—quite affordable, I think you'll find.

Magical novelties are more like Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans and chocolate frogs. . . magical detachable ears, and such. I'm sure you're familiar with such things.
