--Hello! Yes. Sorry if anyone's tried to contact me over the past couple of days, I've been a little-- [There's a peculiar screech, high-pitched and clearly made by some kind of small animal, very close to the journal.] --busy, lately, and I got a little ill. I'm better now! Everything's fine.

[The screeching noise returns, almost plaintive this time, and is followed by a strange, guttural trill.]

They have feathers and are tiny. Just hatched this morning when I was trying to make breakfast.

They're probably hungry, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to feed them. Bugs or something?
