Listen up. Prepare to move out. Captain's orders. Anything that needs to get done on shore, wrap up before noon today because that's when we'll be weighing anchor. Moon will take point, Sun will pick up any stragglers, but don't be a straggler. Namur is captaining the Moon but for anything else come to me. If you have problems with this you can remain on shore.

For anyone that remains with the Spade Pirates. The end is unknown. There is likely to be a hard fight or two before the end of it. But we'll get through it so long as we fight together. That is all.

[Thatch will be standing in the exact center of the Sun, arms folded, if you wish to talk.

[Makes a considering sound, neither agreeing or disagreeing with him. Then he sighs.]

This is going to get messy. I don't know how Ace was acting before but I've been watching Sora. He keeps clutching his head, telling something to shut up even though there's no one around... Thatch -- if there's someone in their heads, eventually they're not going to be able to control themselves at all.

[He knows about that all too well.]

I guess. Though I never really understood what the captain could do. [He explained it but it's not something she's ever seen.] I don't want to flee but yet.... I still can't fight yet, so I guess it is my only option.

[He follows, noting to himself every detail of the ship he can. Especially quick exits, and any high perches he could make use of. Eventually, he returns the taller captain's gaze.]

Dissenters among your own trying to pick a fight certainly explains the urgency. But you're sure all this isn't of their own volition?

[Chandra snorts a laugh, and nods]

Thanks Thatch. Nice to meet ya. [She shakes his hand, her gauntlet surprisingly warm.] I have. Not often, but I have.

Aye... [a sigh and he absently rubs the back of his head, combing his fingers through his hair. This was going to go to hell and it was going to be hell to claw their way out of it again. But they would so long as someone kept a steady hand on the tiller.]

It'll be rough sailing for a while, no mistake. But never forget that there's a light at the end of it so long as you keep going. Sora came back when we thought he was dead for sure, aye? So whatever happens--we have a second shot.

Don't worry, lass. Just do what you can do. We'll get through it one way or the other.

[He takes a breath, steeling his resolve, and when he speaks again it's with a firmer tone.]

I've got experience with this kind of thing. We'll make it through. I'll see where Namur wants me in the meantime.
