[Voice - Action to those around]

[the sound of a low, long deep whine could be heard. It's been a little while since the woman's voice came out of his journal and he promptly ignored it after a while. But now he was somewhere near water (you can hear it splashing around) as he talks.]

This doesn't smell like home. I thought I got left behind, but this doesn't smell right. The sea doesn't feel the same. Where is everyone? Captain? My idiot crew? Jean Bart even! Nothing is right. [it's a cast call, sure, but he was asleep at the time he was with them all last and now he's not... there. It's weird.]

[he tapped the journal on the dock he was sitting on, talking to it.] Where is everyone! [his paws went high above his head as he yelled that last part, falling backwards on the deck. SO all you hear is a thunk.]

[Action: For anyone around, they might have seen a bear in a orange jump suit just yell out into the world and flop back on the deck. Don't mind him, he's just feeling left behind and lost. Maybe he should have read this stupid note in this stupid journal.]

The ghost guy brought everyone here. We're going to kick his ass but something's gone wrong.

[silence for a moment. He's staring at his book. Oh. huh. Ghost huh---fdnjsknjgf] EEEHHhhh!? GHOST GUY?! What are you talking about!

[oh, wait, blinkblink...] That's the Captain! Not me. I know my way around medical things though. Is someone hurt? [dang, he just GOT here.]

The green ghost guy.

I dunno. It's an infection and it's really weird. It makes people mad...

[if only you could see his face. He doesn't LIKE the idea of a green ghost guy. He's not looking around, carefully, but proceeds to talk about important things...]

I'm not a doctor. More like an assistant... to the... medics. [and to Law, when he can help. And he CAN help. But:] I'm a Navigator Straw Hat. Not a doctor--what kind of infection? [He couldn't help but ask.]

Keimi's a navigator but we don't have any kind of doctor. I don't know what kind of infection. Are they different? They don't have any spots or anything. Just freckles but he came with those... and I think some of his crew is sick, too.

Of course there are different kinds of infections. There are kinds that make you itch and kinds that make you dizzy and kinds that eat the flesh off your fleshy skin. And others. And---Freckles? Who is it?

[pacing now. Back and forth on the docks.]

EH? Really?! I don't want Ace to lose his skin! How do I stop it! Oi! Tell me!

[AHH! Don't get excitable! Now he's worried!] Really! There are some that--EHH! STRAW HAT! Have you finally lost your mind!? [he gasped. Ace? But... but he...--Oh that poor boy thought Ace was still alive. Oh no...]

I DON'T WANT ACE TO LOSE HIS SKIN! DO SOMETHING!

[he doesn't know what but the guy has to! Marco can't help Ace if Ace loses his skin!]

BUT HE CAN'T LOSE HIS SKIN! [He yelled back. The man was dead! No. No... lets stay calm. Caaalllm. He took a breath and spoke like he was speaking to the ill] Once they come back for me I can have Captain look at him for you.

[oh. Okay. Then if he couldn't that was alright. Then no one else would either. Still Luffy's voice might sound a little tight when he says]

A...ahh I don't think that guy is here. You want to come with us til he shows up?

[because they really need a doctor. In case anyone else gets sick]

[PLOP, on the dock...] What do you mean he isn't here? You said a ghost took me here? Why not Captain too? Where is here? Where are you?

[oh, all the questions. His voice isn't as deep right now either...]

I dunno. He just isn't. I dunno why the ghost takes people. He took Usopp away and Katara and Sokka and sometimes he brings people like Zoro. Here is this place and we're at the hot spring island.

[ug, what? Who are these people. Are there actually any people around him or is he seriously losing it? OH DEAR POOR STRAW HAT. YOU AND YOUR LITTLE BRAIN BROKE. He's tearing up a little... only not. Still, he's sad for the guy. Delusional.]

I don't know where this hot spring island is. [he sniffs the air, frowning.] This place doesn't smell right at all. The ocean smells different too.

[sniff.... why isn't Captain here ;;]

[sniffing sounds again, then he sneezes, loud. Rubbing his nose he answered]

Don't know. It's just different. Saltier.

Can you sniff out hot springs? [Cuz Chopper was good at that kind of thing and a bear and a reindeer aren't that much different right?]

[You really are dense, huh? Not that much different? Excuse you.... BEARS are superior with their nose.]

I could. Or you can tell me where you weigh anchor and I can find it. Navigator too, remember?

I dunno. It's the island where the hot springs are... and it's kind of warm.

That was a lot of help. [He mumbled more to himself, running a paw over the back of his furry head]

I'll see if I can find a map. I'll try to get there as soon as possible, but if you have someone infected with something, make sure they get rest and stay away from the others.

You don't have to have a map. Just sneak onto one of the ships and use their transporty thingy. [much easier]
