[Completely sleep-deprived and combating a very, very consistent voice in his head, Ace spoke darkly into his journal--not yelling, but still not hiding even a smidgen of menace from his tone.]

You're all supposed to be givin' it your all to get these ships clean and safe.

One of the back-sails on the Moon was loose. You realize we're at port, right? If that sail drops, the anchor ain't gonna stop it from plowin' into the pier.

So--who forgot to do their job the right way?

What!? You think I didn't fix the rigging the second I saw it!?

It's their attitudes that need fixing!

[why wouldn't Ace like their attitude? He wouldn't have sailed with them this long if he didn't like them. And he hadn't gotten new crew]

Ace, are you okay?

[hiken]

I'm fine. Despite some idiot's laziness--nothing went wrong, yet.

[Scorn laced into his voice, Ace could be heard stalking along the deck.]

People make mistakes.

[but it's not right. It's Ace but it's not. He sounds like he's talking about lazy nobles again. That's not the same thing and him thinking about his crew that way-- Ace wouldn't. He'd only have people that could sail with him. They were alike like that.

He's not sure what's going on... it's a mystery but...]

If you don't like to sail with them then stop being their captain.

[hiken]

Not on my ship! This isn't a practice run! These aren't toy boats!

[Ace paused, gritting his teeth and wheezing, briefly. He wasn't sure what thoughts were his or not at the moment and navigating that minefield was too much.]

You can fix ships. You can't unyell at nakama.

[if Ace keeps getting madder about it, Luffy will come over and punch him somehow. Try to get him away or something. He's not sure why but it's not right and if Ace gets too mad he'll do something stupid and when he feels better will be sad about hurting his own nakama. Luffy won't allow it]

[hiken]

[In the background, one could hear the start of Ace and Marco's confrontation--to which his reply to Luffy is a grunt cut off by the sound of the two smashing against each other.]
