Hey, everybody, it's me, Hajime! I didn't do a birthday post last month because everybody was so busy with their visit to Isla Empieza. We were on Phantasia, so sorry we missed you all! We'll all need to get together again some other time.

Anyway, now that it's a new year, it's time for a new BIRTHDAY LIST! Lots of people on the old list went home, so it's super short now. Let's all work together to make it big again!

[She then copies down the names of people from old list that she knows haven't left (in actual chronological order this time!)]

I don't believe I've met Rin before. Would it really be alright for me to come?

Of course it would! I never met Roxas before his birthday and we had a great time! All but one of his friends went back home, so he's gonna have to stop being a grump and make new friends sometime and a party would be a great place to do that!

[Rin is a total grump, though, so getting him to come to the party at all will kind of be the first hurdle.]

[ Well, she's CERTAINLY been there and done that, so she's kind of seeing the problem of how to get him to the party, too. ]

That may be difficult if he's really as much of a grump as you say he is. How well do you know him?

Not as well as Ai, but I'm working on it!

[Obviously Ai has the advantage because he's a boy and he's Rin's roommate and teammate from back home.]

I'm gonna have to rely on Ai a lot to get the party planned. He's a first year, though, so he won't know what Rin did for his birthday last year. I kind of wish we could write to the people who went home. I bet they'd have some good ideas.

If we're lucky, the shop might someday carry something that would allow us to do just that. Still, if his friend at least knows him, that would be a great help.

You think so? Maybe I should stop in there and ask. I still have to drop off Dog's present and see what she left me before we set sail again. When are you gonna leave port? We hafta wait until the boat is done.

[Not that she's complaining. She's kind of missed being on land somewhere there are actual people to talk to.]

That wouldn't be a bad idea. I might swing by to see if she's picked up anything new, as well.

... I'm not sure when we're going to leave port, but it will have to be soon. [ Upkeep is a horrible thing to have looming over your head. ] Will you be okay until your boat is finished?

Yup! I've found lots of stuff to keep me busy. I'm hoping I'll get to start decorating the new boat soon. That'll be three boats, now, so I've really got the whole thing figured out!

[She strikes a pose, then laughs at herself.]

You've decorated three boats already? All on your own?

[ WELL... okay, she can see that, Hajime has so much damn energy in her, but on the other hand, the boats certainly aren't SMALL. ]

Well, I got some of the crew to help me on the Koumyou and I bet they'll again! I hope we find more crew when we're here just to liven things up a bit. I like everyone a lot, but I think I'd like to have another girl my age around. Or a talking animal like Pinkie!

[She knew that Pinkie was a talking pony, but she hadn't really expected a talking pink pony. She probably should have, though.]
