Week 0, Day 1
Using this given book as a personal log.
Name: Garrus Vakarian
Rank: Turian Hierarchy Reaper Task Force Leader (as of this entry)
I’ve woken up in plenty of strange places after a night of shore leave, but this is new. Still trying to wrap my head around what’s going on. I’m putting my money on a simulation of some kind. Probably Reaper or Cerberus tech or a weird form of indoctrination. From what I remember, subjects tend to hear some sort of whispering. That’s not creepy at all.
At the risk of sounding like that freaking Prothean, the town’s culture, technology and architecture is primitive and human-centric. I doubt they have any kind of water purification or dextro food, so the environment is obviously not turian-friendly.
Gonna have a look around. Simulation or not, I’m hoping they’re friendly.
And that I can find someone or something familiar.

[Hello Garrus. Have a voice coming out of the book.]

[LEAAAANS BACK]
[LEANS BACK ALL OVER THE DANCE FLOOR]
[Actually he's taking a look at his omni-tool and hardsuit first to make sure nobody's hijacked his communications]
[And... wow, yeah, that may have actually come from the book]
[It catches him off guard enough to have him wondering aloud]
...Come again?
Voice
They're used for communication. Every newcomer seems to wake up with one -- how or why is anyone's guess.

Though yeah, things are pretty rustic around here.
Voice
[But Garrus is a fairly quick study, even if he's still wary. And what better way to cover up any of his insecurities than with a healthy dose of deflection]
Not an Earth native? What gave that away?
Voice
'Course, not all humans are from Earth, and we're not all as primitive as you might think, but generally my odds of guessing there are pretty good.

What can you tell me about this place? It looks largely human centric. I'm surprised anyone here understands what I'm writing.
Are we being kept captive? Any demands? Ransom?
written;
Unfortunately, we are not being held captive. There are no demands and no ransom.
How open-minded are you?

[Quick backstory: He was on her first crew here in pirate land, and just disappeared one day.]

[OH GOOD SOMEONE FAMILIAR. He'll happily talk into a book like an ass for you, Ash]
You're gonna have to be a bit more specific. Last I remember we we--
[Wait, if this is a simulation then they may be trying to use Ashley to pull information from him]
[And the question isn't exactly what he'd expect from someone who would've been pulled in the middle of Piratetown at the same time]
[Paranoid, thy name is Garrus Vakarian]
...Yeah, you're just gonna have to be more specific.

[Oh.]
[That's discouraging.]
You really don't remember? Crap.

Not exactly feeling too welcome here, Joker.

Also, the beer so far has been perfectly palatable, so I'm not exactly sure why you're worried about water, of all things.

And I take it that by coin you mean the local currency, which I'm also willing to bet isn't anything even close to the galactic standard credit.
Because that's just how my luck's been running today.

By multiples, do you only mean multiple people from the same place, or multiples of a single person.
...Or is it some weird mix of both?
