First Journal Entry - Written

Isla Empieza, where is that? I must have fainted again, because I woke up in the middle of the street but nothing looks familiar. I found this journal here in my pocket, and I know I didn't have it before. Everything about this place looks old and outdated. I didn't think there were any places like this around. I don't really know where I am. Is this some district of Sapporo?

People are moving and bustling around, which is normal, but even the shopkeepers can't tell me where to get the bus back to Ezonoo. I don't know what a Scurvey Dog is, or why there's a note in this journal, but I guess if it's meant to belong to someone else, they're not around anymore. It's portable, maybe I could put my math and science formulas in here for quick study.

As always, there are no bars on my phone. Why can't my phone ever work when I need it to?

This isn't what you're gonna want to hear, and maybe at first you won't believe me but.. Whereever you're from, you're not there anymore. Good news is that everyons round here is real nice ~ you'll find a crew totake you in in no time :)

It's alright I suppose. I will just have to figure out what to do here. I feel like I'm back at Ezonoo the first day all over again.

I know, I know. Someone has asked me to be their cook, so I think I will be alright.

Ezonoo is the name of my school. It's an agricultural school that has dorms. In rural Hokkaido.

Ooh a cook, huh? On what crew? That sounds like a great job. It sure is important!

I'm not sure yet, I don't think he has a boat yet. But I'll let you know when I find out.

Um, neither actually. I'm just a regular student who applied to a farmer's school. I wanted to stay in a dorm somewhere.

I have cooked for people before. I orchestrated a pizza party at school. A lot of the kids never had pizza before. I've also made sausages and bacon from scratch and I've learned all kinds of other things too. I'm not in Food Sciences, but the food is so delicious, I might have considered it. Hopefully people will like what I make for them.

Hopefully I can make more then that, I did learn a few things, I've just never made them on my own before. I might look for a recipe book. At least I know how to pick out fresh, good ingredients. That has to help me.

That sounds positive, at least! If you find an awesome pizza recipe you should let me try it out!

I already have the recipe memorized, it shouldn't be very difficult. If we have pizza, I'll have to invite you sometime.

Yes, I suppose we could. I have done it before, it was very fun. Everyone really enjoyed it, and we all had to write a paper about it.

We did. We wrote about how we sourced all the ingredients that were growing on the school grounds. It was an unauthorized use of the ingredients after all. The principal thought it was a learning experience.

No, this was really the only party we had. Probably if it was an official school function it would have been fine, however, it almost felt like we were being punished a little.

Well, the good news is that you can have as many parties as you like here and you'll never have to write a paper about it!! ^^
