I'm a bit vexed I'd gone this long unaware that islands among the sky are phenomenons that exist.

Honestly, you'd think birdfolk should be the first to know of this sort of thing, yet here we are. Six months into my stay in this world and only recently has it come to my attention.

These weeks spent among the clouds more than made up for it, I suppose. Sans the giants.

Still. I'll be a little sad to see it off.

Hell yeah! So there's this seriously bigass tree up on the surface, right? An' her roots go c l e a r down t' the ocean floor. The roots bring sunlight t' one li'l part a the deeps, an' that's where our kingdom is. Got this shit called bubbly coral that makes- go figure- bubbles. But they ain't like the weakass shit y' see small fry playin' with that bursts if y' look at it. They're strong 'nuff y' can sit on 'em or use 'em t' give humans air if they gotta go outta the city. Merfolk use 'em t' get 'round on dry land an' t' fly if they're brave 'nuff, sheheheh!
