Uh. Snow usually isn't suppose to be green, is it? I mean, I really don't think so, but...is this suppose to mean something? [A pause] If I didn't know better I'd swear Ace had something to do with this.

[Despite all the confusion from Asami, instead of staying in her room, she decides to walk around the ship. Anyone on The Sun will more than likely get a fist full of green snow thrown at them if they're walking around.

Why? Just because.

[Yes. Yellow snow would be more worrisome, but at the same time green could mean a lot of different things. Some which she rather not think about]

It's about the same for us. But I think most of it is already starting to melt.

I guess we can't really be sure of what's normal around here, since we all aren't really native to the place. Though, judgin' by the local reactions, it's pretty strange to them.

[Well Asami knows what a lionturtle is and what it does, but...

She laughs a little]

I was talking more about dyeing the snow green. That just sounds like something he would do.

[Though she really couldn't tell if the snowflakes were green before they even hit the ship.

HEY! That's a new jacket you know! With her good arm— her other one still healing from the previous battle— she chucks another ball at Korra. Yeah, having a snowball fight with the Avatar seems unfair]

[More than a little unfair. Which, at least, Korra bothers to take into account nowadays. Slightly. Maybe a little more so because her friend still has an injured shoulder.]

True! Though I think that'd have to be if he didn't melt it all first.

[So maybe a less conventional approach is in order. Korra launches off the deck and drags a giant mound of loose, fluffy (green) snow with her. Positioning herself in the air several meters above Asami, she flings the snow drift downward like a giant, barely-packed snowball.]

I don't know...Maybe he just has a fondness for snow we're not aware of?

[Yeah. Not bloody likely. If anything, Ace seemed to -hate- the cold.

Korra. Korra. That's totally unfair. She's getting green all over her too. Here have another snowball thrown, this one's a bit more bigger than before]

[Korra laughs on her way back down to the deck and spins in the air, gathering another snow drift on the deck for her to safely land in, limbs completely spread out.

...Just in time for Asami's snowball to catch her in the shoulder. Korra sputters snow out of her mouth.]

Yeah, and Naga is a flying bison. [SARCASM. The dog shuffles out onto the deck, then, clearly excited to see the snow.]

[Asami takes a step back and tries to cover her face from all the green snow Korra is blowing at her. She laughs at Korra's comment. Poor Ace.

Still, it makes me wonder how it got like this in the first place.

[This place was so strange, it's probably something she shouldn't even question]

[Of course, Ace was standing behind Asami, his hair dyed green by his fire ability melting the snow all over himself. All of his clothing was green.

It was a pain in the ass.]

Oh hey, Ace. You sure look green]

I'm guessing it's been giving you a lot of trouble, hasn't it?

Yeah. Snow ain't exactly my favorite thing, but everybody else likes it. So, I'm tryin' to keep myself from melting it as much as normal.

[He was also exceptionally drunk too, but the green really emphasized it.]

[She might have joked with Korra about Ace liking the snow, but yeah, she understood. Any fire user probably wouldn't have liked it too much.

Asami had also yet to notice that Ace was drunk]

I bet everyone would appreciate that. [She paused and smiled a little as she said that] So I'm guessing you've never been in snowball fight before?

[It would be too much for him if she actually threw a snowball at him, wouldn't it?]

[Ace found himself disliking the snow mostly because he couldn't enjoy it. Turning off his heat was tough. All around his feet, it was melting rapidly.

Weird how he didn't burn people all the time, but the snow turned to slush so easily...]

I can't exactly make a snowball, so much as a slush ball. Even then, the slush balls don't last long.

[Of course. Asami observed Ace for a bit more, realizing the snow around him was melting regardless. Throwing a snowball would do no good]

Your powers won't allow to do that?

I didn't either. But judging from everyone else, it doesn't sounds like it's common here at all.

I'm kind of glad it isn't. Just plain snow makes things difficult enough, and I'm not really a fan.

I guess a lot more people aren't than I thought. [She pauses] Are you holding up okay?

I'm not doing too bad. I'm sticking around The Sun for a while since Ace is here.
