Interesting how it's already just over a month since I, Mr. Denzel Crocker! Have arrived at this 'place'. A place which acts like a vortex but that's besides the point!
I have to admit I do miss the glow of a computer screen as technology here is at least a century behind leaving only the bare necessities of primitive tooling... but I can last... I think.
It’s strange not waking up with an alarm clock or having my usual cups of coffee and not teaching. As much as I despise those children... But aftre thirteen years of the same routine and yet somehow my life is still being ruled by a woman.
Oh, well. At least she lets me 'tinker' around as I please. No more needing to hide my lab beneath the school And there’s magic here! Wishing magic! But I have yet to learn the extent of its power compared to those – FAIRIES from home.
I can’t say I miss home exactly - Outside of more modern technologyand her. Even here I think about her perhaps I’m doomed to hopelessly love her forever. Our captain wants to be my friend and that’s more than I could ever ask for...
At least so far outside of missing crewmates and a shipment, life has been rather quiet. For now...
Can’t say I’m exactly 'thrilled' with being pulled into battle. I hope I live another year. I may just have to learn how to use a weapon.
[Private to Marco]
It's been awhile since we've last spoken.
(Strikes visible.)

Maybe it is...
[voice]
See? So wouldn't it just be easier if you accepted it instead of throwing a fit?
[voice]

[Oh, nearly caught her there! The last thing Codi wants to do is tell Crocker to "do something about it." Not when she has him so neatly tucked in the palm of her hand. Nice try, Denzel.]
...Never mind. Old habits die hard, huh? But it's not so bad!
[voice]
Yes, suppose what they say is true. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
[Grumble grumble. Though the saying isn't that true it can happen... In time.]
[voice]
[...Nice save? Maybe?]

I haven't seen a leopardkahn yet. Do they hatch from eggs? [just checking]
[voice]
Let me answer your question with a question, have you seen a rainbow?
[The man has no idea if they do hatch from eggs. It is possible, heck now that he thinks about it. He's not sure how Fairy Godparents reproduce.]
[voice]
[voice]
Actually where are you from? And why are you so fascinated about leprechauns, mmm?
After all - FAIRIES! Are far more interesting.
[At least he thinks so.]
[voice]
Re: [voice]
[Come again there, Luffy.]
Cooler than fairies?! [Don't make him laugh Luffy! Alright he is going to laugh like a manic for a few moments.] All that leprechauns give you is their Pot of Gold!
Fairies on the other hand there magic can be used in other ways besides...
...Unfortunately, I'm no expert on leprechauns - [Outside of what they look like and the whole rainbow and Pot of Gold at the end at the very least.]
That would be someone else in the family. [Who is probably deceased or taken away by magical creatures.]
[voice]
Who cares about magic I want one as a pet, or a nakama. Finding gold would be pretty cool too. Why do they do that? Don't they want it?
[voice]
WHO CARES ABOUT MAGIC?! [What are you mad Luffy?] Magic is power!
Why would you want one as a pet or a naka - nakamu- nakene - GAH!
[Denzel sighs and replies exhaused sounding.]
I don't know. Like I said I only know the basics of them.
