*BANG! Yes, that's very much the unmistakeable sound of a gun being fired. There's a pause, and then another BANG! But instead of being followed up by screams or shouts, the next sound is of giggly laughter*

Whoo hoo!~ Bang, bang! I totally did it!

So, I got my hands on a pair of guns. They're cute, like pistols or something. And decorated pretty too! I always wanted to try - but...I wasn't allowed to back home...

*Mostly, Irvine would freak when he saw her examining his shotgun too closely. Juse in case*

But now I have some and I can shoot them too! Anyone else round here use guns? Got any hints or tips? I wanna be able to actually aim. Right now it's just... shooting into thin air, ya know? But whoa, this stuff is super fun!

*And, once she fumbles with it again, there's yet another gun shot*

Cute and guns, or any weapon for that matter, are two words I never heard used together. At least not in a serious sense.

Please tell me that your are aiming out over the ocean to practice?

*Selphie points one of the guns out at arm's length, the way a kid who was playing might, and she moves it around to look for something to aim at. After a moment, she looks at Namur with a pout and a shrug*

But there's nothing to aim at...

Seriously? Well, you'd call these cute if you saw them I bet. Weapons and be cute and pretty and beautiful too!

...nah, I figured I'd just aim at the crew.

*Then there's a giggle*

Of course I'm just aiming at the ocean!

I acquired several firearms, some time ago, during our visit to one of the local isles. They are interesting weapons, if very dangerous.

Then don't be shootin' shit.

'Sides, we only got so much ammo for 'em that didn't get flooded. Gotta be careful 'til we get t' somewhere we can stock y' up, catch me?

[He chuckles and ruffles her hair.]

Like 'em, huh?

*Yes, she's deliberately trying to wind him up. But that's okay. But the comment he made about ammo made her feel suitably chastised and she nodded meekly*

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. But if I was stuck in the middle of a random fight suddenly, I'd be using my magic anyway.

*Selphie smiles brightly when he ruffles her hair and she nudges into him a little*

*Oh no. Selphie's in trouble. She squeals at the sound of another shot being fired, far from having expected it, and she ducks behind a random nearby barrel*

Yeah, well, hell of a lot t' find in them wrecks. Think I 'bout got everthin' worth gettin' though. Jus' a couple more runs, sheheh! Give y' a bubble, y' can come help me look if y' want.

*Meanwhile Selphie just smiles at Namur's laughter, and that hint of a blush she's sure she sees*

*So many questions, but she's excited by the idea of sunken treasure*

Wow - guns and magic at the same time - that's cool!

Oh weapons can be beautiful if they are well crafted. I just would not use the word "cute" to describe them. That word is something I associate with small children and animals.

I modified most of the guns I took to utilize magical energy, rather than gunpowder and bullets, in fact. I found that to be more efficient and suiting my style.

Tee hee! Well, maybe if you saw these you'd call them cute too. They're just little guns, and all pretty designed too!

Oooh - like a gun that can shoot fire or something from it?!

I seriously doubt that. [The woman hardly uses the word in casual conversation.]
