[and grateful to whoever wrapped him up and left him in his hammock to sleep off his blood loss. But he is rather swaddled in bandages (again) and wondering what he missed while he slept]

Don't need medicine, but I'm hungry. That'd be nice.

[She's bringing you medicine whether you like it or not.]

I'll warm some up. Be there in a few minutes.

[And so she does. She knocks politely and pokes her head into the room.]

Zoro-chin? Are you still awake?

[She'd almost prefer if you went back to bed. Get some damn rest.]

[fortunately the men's cabin is pretty quiet, except for him and an impatient bald kitten in his adorable sweater. Blue is pretty annoyed that he can't climb into the hammock to be with Zoro, but he sure is trying. Zoro just keeps batting him away with a gentle hand.]

Oh, hey. That was quick. It's all right.

[She smiles, pushing open the door. She's bandaged up pretty well, herself, but she does her best to keep it covered under a larger-than-usual shirt. Next to Zoro, she sets a tray with a bowl of warm beef stew and some pain ointment.]

You doing okay?

Yeah.

[ooh beef stew. That immediately distracts Blue. Zoro shifts to sit up and take the food.]

I could sleep another twelve hours, but eh. Food's good, too. Thanks.

D-don't push yourself! If you need to rest, then rest!

I'm fine, really.

[he will insist until the day he dies, probably literally.]

How're you doing? I lost track of you in the fog, you okay?

[And she will continue to insist he should relax.]

[She was just chased around by nightmare slavers and man-eating fish. No big.]

I broke one of those altars, at least.

Oh? [looks up with interest with the spoon halfway to his lips] Good job. Knew you had it in you.

...piss off, Blue, this is my lunch. Dinner. What time is it, anyway?

[Said as she bends down to scratch Blue behind the ear. Hey, kitty, no food for you.]

So it's like dinner-breakfast?

[munches quietly for a moment, and then looks around the men's cabin. Somebody's on watch for him, then. The others? Cook is probably in the galley...]

Where's Luffy?

I'm not sure. Sleeping somewhere, probably.

As long as he's all right. [muttering into the bowl] That island really did a number on him. It was like the ghost ships all over again.

I think it was hard on everyone.

[Thankfully this time she wasn't confined to an invisible fish bowl, at least.]

I'll check up on him later.

[still maintaining that aside from physical damage, it didn't bother him one bit. But he isn't about to brag about that in front of others.

Never mind the fact that Keimi actually saw the baboons...]

Here's hoping we don't have to visit there again. We didn't leave anybody behind or anything, did we?

Well Bepo-chin is still missing but...

[She scratches the back of her head.]

We haven't been able to find Sanji-chin, either.

[he actually stops eating, the spoon clattering against the bowl.]

...cook's missing?

[There's no way Luffy would have left without him, though. Right? As much as Zoro doesn't really want to go back and search, but...]

[The clattering makes her wince.]

We looked everywhere...

[of course they did. They wouldn't have just left him.

Zoro resumes eating, but slowly. He can't find the usual words of encouragement that everything will be all right.]

I'm sure he's okay. Sanji-chin is really strong.

[Granted he's not Luffy-levels of indestructible but it's not like this is the first time he's up and vanished.]

[and don't ever tell him Zoro said so. Poor Keimi, though, he tries shooting her a quick smile but it only comes out vaguely reassuring.]

Guess I can't lounge around in here for a week, if we're short on crew. I'd better get out there.

[She puts a hand against his chest-- hardly resistance enough to keep Zoro from moving, but enough to show that she wants him to stay.]

Get some rest, Zoro-chin. I'm checking up on everyone.

[it'll take a lot more than that to shove him back into his hammock]

...I'll eat first, at least.

[She sighs.]

Can you at least sleep for tonight? I'll let you work in the morning.
