It's got nothing to do with bravery and everything to do with the fact that we don't have an endless supply of resources. I don't want to attempt more experimentation than I have to because we haven't the time, nor the money probably. I just want to make the potions I know will be useful to the crew, not mess around with ingredients and hope the outcome doesn't kill someone by mistake.
