I never was one to keep a journal, but right now, I think I need get out some frustration. Wouldn't want to take it out on someone, right? This place is definitely not Gensoukai. I ran all over this place, looking for Hisoka or Touda, and I just ended up back at that crumbling fountain. There was a poem etched into it. It might sound crazy, but I feel like I had heard it before. I don't know what happened when that monkey hit me in the face, but this is either a really bad dream or something worse. I don't want to think I got knocked off Touda into a wormhole, but what other explanation is there?
I got lucky when I came by this inn. Some really kind fishermen gave me some money for a room and a meal. I was so grateful, but they didn't seem to want anything in return. The food was like a home-cooked meal. I haven't tasted something like that since Tatsumi used to cook for me years ago, so it brightened my mood a bit. That was when I noticed I hadn't let go of this journal I'm writing in now. Funny how I've clung to it like I was afraid to lose it. I finally read the first entry while I was eating, and now, I'm writing it. I half expect to get sucked in like one of the Count's freaking novels. That would just be the icing on this mess of a cake I'm baked into.
I have to get back to Gensoukai, fast. Hisoka can't face all of the Heavenly Forces and Kurikara on his own. I promised him we would do this together. Neither of us would ever have to do anything alone again. We promised to stay together like family, forever. Why does shit like this always have to happen just when I think things are going my way? It seems the only way to get home is to collect all of the shards of that jewel. I never was much of a scavenger hunter, but if it will get me back to my friends, I'll do anything.
Don't forget for a moment what's on the line, Asato. Hisoka, Gensoukai, maybe even the other worlds could be at stake if the plan falls apart. Find your way home. It's all you have left.

Guess I have to figure out how to find a ship to take me. It would make things so much simpler if I could just fly or summon a shiki, but nooooooo... New world has to ground me like the suits back home.
[A groan and the sound of flopping back on bed sheets is heard.]
I give anything for a Cinnabon right now...
