Interesting. It appears that this journal is magical in some way... [He is quiet for a moment, he had been here for at least a day now and he hadn't used this journal until then.]

I guess I should use it since it seems like everyone else is. I'm Fai D. Flourite and I'm a traveller of sorts. I guess like everyone else here I've been brought here to accomplish something. [Or he usually has to help with something. It isn't a world without them having to save it or help it in some way.]

From what I now know of, I'm suppose to find a crew of sorts and travel. [He gives a small pause as people who were currently walking past him were busy talking about various subjects could be heard.]

But I wouldn't know the first thing to do in this type of situation. I've never been a pirate before after all, so it certainly would be an experience... but I would rather have something more calming where I don't have to do too much work. [Yep, he's sticking to being as lazy as he can get away with.] But if there is nothing like that, I suppose I can help out here and there.

[He gives a small chuckle.]

One more thing, can anyone tell me all the unusual happenings, or the history of this world? It's something I tend to find interesting.

You'd be surprised at how much work is involved when it comes to sailing with a crew. I most certainly was.

I'm the ship's cook, so I ensure that everyone has food. However, there's also keeping the ship clean - swabbing, removing barnacles, washing the sails . . . and when the ship is moving, I help out with the sails as well.

[Well... at least he'd be willing to clean, but sails probably not as he would have no idea how to even begin with those things.]

That sounds like quite a bit. One much certainly be busy all day.
