Watch the skies today and tomorrow. If I have correctly timed it, you should be receiving a gift for your ~~name day~~ birthday.

[Unless Margie's delivery gulls get lost, they should drop a package to the deck of the Murderess that contains a full outfit from Himmelen. Dark grey pants are fashioned almost like jodhpurs below the knee in order to be tucked into the polished, knee-high, black leather boots that are included. A crisp white shirt with loose sleeves and frilly cuffs is folded beneath a bottle green waistcoat with silver buttons. The largest piece, however, is a long, woolen coat so dark green as to almost be black with cuffs and collar of silvery yak fur. It is lined with dark green silk. Tucked into the package are a pair of chocolate frogs and a little card that reads 'Happy Name Day from Elissa Cousland'.]

Sixteen! You are now more man than child. I am glad that I sent you something to help commemorate such a name day. Birthday, I mean. They are name days where I was born.

I did my best to remember details of the time we traveled together, Draco. Hopefully, your gift will not disappoint. If it should, simply pass it on to someone else. I shall not be hurt.

[Such lies. Elissa tends to go out of her way to give great gifts. If he doesn't like it, it will be her fault for not learning enough about him before selecting something... and she will doggedly try again.]

[He receives the gift right on schedule, and oh. It most certainly does not disappoint. After trying it on immediately, he's yet to take it off. In fact, he'll probably be strutting around in that coat for awhile.

Even if it's warm out.

The chocolate frogs are a pleasant surprise, too, and though he saves one for himself, he probably sets the other one loose on the ship almost immediately. Er...by accident, of course. ~~Not~~.

So yes, more writing will show up on the page in the early afternoon.]

Disappoint? NOT AT ALL. Elissa, this is brilliant. I'm really...I'm impressed, I have to admit. And very much in gratitude to you!

[With it being twelfth day of no word from the absent Haytham, Elissa is greatly cheered by Draco's reaction to the gift. In fact, he's made her day.]

Haha! Good! Good. It helped that you said you could tailor it to fit, else I would not have been so bold in buying clothing for you.

It was actually rather accurate anyway, I only had to adjust the boots a little. But truly, it's a fantastic ensemble. I need to visit the island you found this on and do a huge wardrobe overhaul.

I got most of it on Himmelen, but the chocolate came from Margie. In truth, Himmelen is my favorite out of all the islands we have visited thus far. I could easily make it my home despite the snow.

That would just delay him further. [To be truthful this isn't the first time he's weighed the pros and cons of just shooting something and waiting three days so continue the argument.] I'm not sure that would help your frustration in the long run.

You have a point. It would only delay some much needed conversation, I am thinking.

Still, I cannot be wrong in assuming that you are also unhappy with him? Though, obviously, for different reasons.

We weren't doing anything important but it's not a good example to the rest of the crew.

[With his old crew people playing games in the corridors during their down time was fine, no one would think of up and vanishing for close to two weeks was really testing things.]

I'm just blessed with a capable third in command.
