Sitting in his hand was a pretty small pearl...maybe half the size of a pea. It was neither perfectly round nor smooth... It was kinda shaped like a grain of rice and had little swirled lumps on it. Still though, it shimmered with the typical radiant whiteness of a pearl]

There you go... Not the best one I've ever found, but it's still pretty.
