As for the Ghost Race, I am glad you asked! It was started about two hundred years ago when Port Chance was founded. Quite a spectacle! It used to include ships of all kinds though now it is mostly a pirate race with brave merchants seeded among them. At first it was called the Great End Race though since Davey Jones' unfortunate arrival and subsequent death, it was named the Ghost Race as the beginning of it falls on his day of birth and it's said to ward off the curse of his eyes, as it were. Though his eyes have not yet appeared and let us hope they don't.
It's quite an exciting event and the Mistress and I look forward to it every year! I hope some outworlders will participate, but we shall see who is brave enough.
