[Hey, guess who found some painted eggs (and more importantly, the dubloons inside them)? Yeah, that's right, this girl.]

Hey everyone! This is Anise Tatlin, from the Friend Ship! ♥ This is pretty important, so pay attention! If you've found any painted eggs floating around, I'd really appreciate it if you can give them to me! Whatever you do, don't open them, okay?

ACTION; on-board the Friend Ship and around the Legends of the Hidden Island

[To nobody's surprise whatsoever, Anise is working herself into a tizzy trying to locate as many of the painted eggs as possible. This means ransacking the ship, searching under every rock and leaf on the island, and even wading out into the sea.]

[Feel free to run across her during her search or witness her annoyed grumbling whenever she opens an egg only to find it doesn't contain precious, precious money!]

What if people have already opened them, or didn't mean to?

[All she found so far was just a candy ring]

[Finnian had been busy making sure things were correctly in place, his new best buddy, a tiny chick that came out of a pretty egg was sat on his shoulder. Looking over he did notice someone looking around for some reason. His chick chipped as he looked over.]

Um... Are you looking for something?

[Then they'd probably be calling her out on fraud - ]

[But nah, she'll play it cool and do what she does best: spinning stories.]

You opened one, didn't you? [And she manages (barely) to sound suitably solemn.] Oh no, this is pretty bad...

[Huh, were you talking? Anise doesn't look up as she continues undoing the results of Finnian's hard work, too busy with her hunt to bother with anything trivial like neatness.]

Yeah! Don't just stand there, Finnian, help me out!

And it has nothing to do with the money you can find inside, huh?

[Sorry, he's already found one or two of those.]

[Hello Anise! Here's a girl who's been searching for eggs since midnight and is fairly sure she knows what you're up to!]

And why on earth would I do that? [Her voice paints the very picture of innocence, surely.] I'm sure you'll find plenty on your own--I've found quite a few myself!

[He blinked a couple of times. He was pretty certain he just put that back a moment ago and now it appeared to be on the floor and things scattered everywhere.]

Help you out with what?

Heh, you kidding? I'm keeping all these.

[And here's someone who's significantly calmer than Anise stopping on his way back to the ship to watch her run around. He's got an armful of eggs himself--about a dozen--but he's not planning on giving any of them up.

Hey, leave some for everyone else to find.

[He doesn't sound mad though...he thinks it's kinda funny.]

[She still doesn't bother looking up.]

The eggs, silly. The eggs!

[What's with all the people replying who don't actually plan on helping? Jeez, a girl can't get a break around here.]

Awww, don't you want to help a cute, busy girl out?

[If he was here, she'd totally be punching him right now.]

Besides, it's for the good of my crew!

[She's part of the crew so it totally counts.]

[Ahhhh, it's her favorite target! Anise leaves her ferreting around to run up to Guy, skidding to a stop just before she runs into him.]

Does that mean you're going to help me look?

Well, I'm sure with the collective efforts of your crew, you guys can probably find enough. Didn't you get a bigger ship recently?

Yeah, which is why we need to fill up our treasury again! We've been really low on funds with the navy attack and all.

[Help a pal out, man!!!]

[Not very convincing, if you ask him.]

... You're not even trying, brat.

I did, but I don't think it's bad. It actually tastes pretty good.

[It tastes like strawberries.]

[That's only because he's not looking at her! The expression of purity and innocence on her face would surely sway his cold, cold heart.]

[No, it won't.]

[Her face darkens, and she barely manages to stop herself from hissing venomously. It's with extremely false sweetness that she speaks again.]

What would I be trying at? I'm just trying to get some nice eggs for my collection!

[Girls totally like collecting cute things like painted eggs, right?]

[Oh, oh whew, she hadn't found the ones with money!]

Then you got off pretty lightly! Some of those eggs have candy in them, but some of them are dangerous!

Oh, you mean those eggs I've seen around.

[Ciel, the chick chirps a little bit bouncing on his shoulder.]

I would be careful, some might have chicks in.

Dangerous? In what way?

[She has to ask.]

Ah, you guys ran into the Navy too, huh... I was hoping that what I was able to snag from the witch's fortress and left for you guys would last a while, but I guess that's not the case.

I haven't really had a chance to find any. My Captain has been all over them though. What do you need them for?

[That's just mean, running up to him when he has his arms full and can't get away as easily. Not that he can't move at all--he takes a couple steps back as soon as she stops.]

I wasn't planning on it--you look like you're doing a great job by yourself.
