Alright, I ain't the type to get on here and rant and mope when people I care about vanish....[though he does sound sad, irritated, and generally disgruntled]

So I'm just postin' this to give a heads up to anyone that gives a crap. Katarina is gone.

[first Dave and Gene, and now her. Not to mention the others that were around for too short a time for him to even get to know them. A lot of people on his crew seem to be disappearing. Some of them he didn't get close to or care a lot about, but some he did... Kat had been a training partner, a trusted companion in battle, a friend]

All she left behind is some sparse weaponry...and the few belongings she accumulated here. So yeah. Gone. That's all.

[he's not going to say he'll miss her. He's not going to say he's now worried this will continue and other members of his crew might disappear. He's not going to tell about how frustrating and infuriating this is, nor how sad. As much as this feeling of powerlessness sucks, expressing that kind emotion would make him look weak and he's too prideful for that. There is one more thing to say though, to someone in particular]

Back at the pirate summit, I talked to Marco a bit after talking to you. I never got the chance to ask you about something he mentioned...do you know anything about 'Davy Jones' supposed power to bring people here and send them away on a whim? This crap has gone far enough...Kat may have wanted to go home, but if Jones tries to send me away...[he just growled a bit, not even finishing the sentence]
