Hey Peaches-

I'll just get right to it, but I'm thinking I need some time apart from the crew. The ship's pretty big, but it's still limited space, and I don't want to make people unnecessarily uncomfortable, given the circumstances. I've always preferred land to sea, anyway.

This isn't for good, of course. I just need to think about things. Things haven't been going as smoothly as I was hoping it would, which is why I've spent more time out in town while we were at port than aboard the ship.

Oh yeah, by the way, I restocked what I could in the galley, and there might be some apple pie left that I baked the other day so anyone's welcome to it.

No need to make a big deal out of this, and if no one notices I'm gone, then that makes it a little easier. But hey, think of this more like a see you later, and not a good-bye. If I need to, I'll definitely find you guys.
