Hi, everyone.
*At least she doesn't sound so grumpy today, though her voice is somewhat more timid than usual*

I think I upset a lot of people yesterday. I was mean to people who really, really didn't deserve it. So...I wanted to say that I'm really sorry.

But - if everyone was doing opposite stuff yesterday, then, I guess, at least that shows that usually I'm a nice, happy, friendly person, right?

*There's an awkward laugh at her attempts to make light of her situation. She'd been pretty mean to people she hadn't even met, too*

That doesn't make it okay, though. So, again, I'm really sorry, and I hope that people still want to be friends.

*She's just going to leave it at that for now. As for those in her crew, they really shouldn't expect to see her face today, because she won't be showing it anywhere. Staying in her room seems a little safer, for now*

[Well, now that things were back to normal, or as normal as it will ever get on this ship, it seems that he really needs to talk with Selphie. Aya is just uncertain as to how to do so.]

[He's standing outside her door and knocks softly after a moment of thinking. She's already really embarrassed about her behavior, so he's sure she'll be more so when she learns he overheard her conversation with Kairi.]

*She was in the process of tuning her guitar when she heard the knock on the door, and the surprise startles her into dropping her instrument onto her pillows (at least not the floor).

Sitting up on the edge of her bed, Selphie glances cautiously at the door, her voice uncertain too*

...who is it?

[In honesty, Aya didn't expect her to ask such a question. So he doesn't answer at first, due to his surprise. That's...something new.]

...it's Aya.

You were just having an off day that's all, Selphie. I wouldn't blame yourself too much for it.

[That's how she likes to see it anyway.]

*Oh. On the one hand, she hadn't been mean to him at all that day. On the other...she couldn't be sure that he hadn't spoken to Kairi. There's a pause on her side of the door too, before she finally speaks up*

...the door's open.

*Meaning that of course he can come in if he likes. She picks up her guitar and sits back against her pillows, fidgeting with the guitar strings because everything is totally normal around here*

Kairi! Oh my gosh, Kairi! Kairi why do you have to be so sweet?

And I missed you so much! And all I wanted was for you to come back and you did and I was horrible to you and I'm so so sorry and I know that what I said didn't make any sense and I'm really sorry and I feel so horrible for everything yesterday!

*Yes, she just blurts this out all in one go*

[Aya lets himself in, and spots Selphie on the bed with the guitar. He offers a smile before closing the door behind him, making sure no one would pop in unexpected.]

I guess you weren't the only one acting weird yesterday. [He walks further inside, running a hand through his hair, not sure where to even start.]

Come back? People have told me this a few times already, but I still don't remember being here before.

[She goes quiet. It really has been said a lot and no matter how much she tries to think of when she could have it... just doesn't come to her.]

No... I wasn't. Maybe that makes things better but - I dunno. I said a lot of stuff I didn't mean yesterday.

*She finally lifts her eyes from her guitar to look up at him*

Anything happen to you yesterday?

I felt...lighter. [He really felt like all his inhibitions were just thrown out the window, yesterday.] I'm fine now, though.

[Now that he has all her attention, Aya readies himself for the next part.]

I...heard you talking to Kairi yesterday...

Oh. That's nice.

*She lowers her head, wondering how much of that was because Kairi was back. She continues tuning her guitar but then he says her name, and suddenly a string snaps. She gives a squeal of surprise, and because it kinda hurt. She barely glances at him, her cheeks reddening*

I'm not pleased with how mean I was to her...

*Though she has a feeling that might not be what he is referring to*

[He was going to speak when the strings are snapped. Definitely struck a chord with saying that. Sitting on the edge of the bed, Aya doesn't face Selphie at first. With his back to her, he talks.]

I wouldn't think so, but...that's not...I came to clear something up.

*Selphie sets her guitar carefully on the floor then looks at Aya's back, glad she can't see his face*

Oh... what's...what's up?

[For what seems like long moments, Aya thinks over if he should tell the truth, or half of it. Deciding to say it all, Aya leans his elbows on his knees while folding his hands in front of his face.]

I'm not in love with Kairi.

Oh. Okay.

*That's all she says, because she thought that maybe she could have been wrong about that. She's not sure what else to say about that. So she just continues to look at his back*

I won't say anything like that again and... yesterday, it was the curse. I'm sorry.

It's my fault for not being clear. I'm not in love with her because...

[Even though he can't see her face, Aya closes his eyes anyway.]

I have feelings for you.

*That...that was unexpected, which he can probably tell from the quiet gasp behind him*

...oh.

Well, you know, I have feelings for you too...

*Blushing, despite still only looking at his back and shoulders*

[While he had a hunch about that, it's still something that makes him hue. Aya turns his head, slightly so, to look at the top of the bed. He could kind of see her form from his peripheral vision, but nothing specific.]

So...what should we do?

*She shifts as though to turn towards him, but he doesn't turn to her fully. She bites her lip gently and lowers her eyes, taking a small breath and slowly, ever so carefully, inching a hand along the bed towards him*

I don't know... What do you think...?

[The hand inching towards him catches his attention, and it makes him smile.]

Well, the first step is admitting our feelings, which we've covered. But, I'm...not very good at these sorts of things, usually.

*Her hand just stops on the bed, not moving now, since he hasn't moved towards her*

Yeah... That's a good thing.

*She waits, unsure, about if she should move closer*

[The hand had stopped, and it's then that he realizes why. Unclasping his hands, Aya turns more to reach out a hand towards the one closest to him.]

You think so?

*Selphie smiles brightly and moves closer to him then, happily taking up his hands in hers*

Don't you think so...? I mean, for a start, it might mean I'm being...less weird.

[He's glad she moved closer, giving her hand a squeeze.]

Less weird? I thought that was normal.

Well, I'm not gonna be shouting at Kairi claiming that you're in love with her or anything like that...

*She blushes again in her embarrassment, but smiles again when he squeezes her hand. She finally moves round to look at him properly, her eyes brightening when she looks at his*

But.. I'm glad you told me. I really didn't think...

*Well, she's been certain for some time that he was no way interested in her*
