With the Navy apparently stepping up their efforts against us, there's an important question to be answered:

How is everybody getting along with their crewmates? Navy crews will be trained to work together well, and it'll be a problem if we can't do the same.

I figured if you've been with your crew long enough there will be a tight bond there that makes working well a breeze.

I know that is the case with our group.

I know that our crew has had ups and downs, especially in the last two months, but even so we get along quite well.

There are newcomers trying to integrate into existing crews, though, and they'd find themselves in the position of being the only one who doesn't have that bond. That could become an issue.

It's been a little different in our case. Most of the crew are all from the same world, so if anything it's just a matter of everyone getting used to me being around.

I mean with everyone already knowing each other already except you. It must be tough.

I don't think it's much of an issue. But I do agree it is an issue. But I've learnt to always welcome those who join, after all they'll be helping us as well as us helping them.

Oh. It's been a little awkward at times, but overall it's gone well and I'm doing fine.

This isn't the first time I've had to work as part of a team. [Larger than the type she's used to, though.]
