Seeing requests for information, I have a few questions of my own. How many of you come from a place that has supernatural powers or mutations. The whole damn lot of you are all real accepting of these things. It makes me wonder if that could be connected to how we got brought here.

Doubt it, but it’s a thought.

I'm not from anywhere with supernatural powers or anything like that. I don't know if you can call it a mutation, but we have zombies.

Supernatural powers? Like what? Like that witch thing?

It is. I just got back from home again. Zombies are very bad, but I'm still alive and that's what's important.

Considering these so called 'journals' work with magic. The shards work on wish power. I'd say there's a high probability with your theory.

Of course there's also the chance all of this is - RANDOM!

Too answer your question, yes where I'm from a world where supernatural powers are indeed real.

Some things are beyond comprehension. I was...possessed by the witch. I'd rather be at home right now. All I used to have to worry about was the equestrian club.

Yeah, I suppose there is the chance that it's random.

What kind of supernatural powers? Mutations, or actual magic?

How much more embellishment do you need? Supernatural or abnormal powers. Things that aren't normal, even for here. Mutations that grant powers, strength, so on. People back home who do abnormal things, we call them mutants.

Yeah. I know a thing or two about that witch problem. SO, you had some normal life back home?

Maybe not entirely normal. Relatively to this place I suppose. I was living at a boarding school, I consider that home. The school was in the middle of nowhere, I was at the top of the Dairy Sciences program.

You were here then home again? And back? [well, that's interesting...] How much of it did you remember when you got back home?

Yeah, I was. I came here for awhile and I left back home. My crew said it was about a month or so here that I was gone, but for me it was two years. I remembered it at first, although I didn't really say anything to Omid and Christa, they wouldn't have believed me.

[She sighs lightly.]

After two years though I didn't remember all that much. It felt more like a dream.

Such abilities are not uncommon in the world I previously resided in. But then that place is filled with youkai and spirits, so it is only to be expected.

However, in the past, before that place, such abilities were not considered rare, though it was not every man who possessed such. As for... mutations? I am not quite familiar with this concept. It sounds as if it were a modern word, and I must confess I am lacking in understanding.

[A pause at that, then a very small chuckle.]

Yeah. I'll give you that, Zoro. How's the crew? [a pause] And your mermaid?

We bounce back pretty quick. Well, mostly. Keimi's okay, as far as I can tell. You scared her, it wasn't the worst thing to happen to her.

Uh, no need to be confused. Not everyone's gonna know it. Back where I'm from... humans are human. They're always born that way, but some are different. They end up extra evolved. It's what normal humans called a mutation. Guess we do as well... [a shake of his head, not that you can see that.] Anyhow. Evolved humans have extra powers is all. Mutated.
