[This is the kind of thing Lenalee has been feeling lately. She wasn't the only one. At least that's what she assumed. These thoughts and that voice makes one all confused and unsure of what it is she really wants. But little by little it does slowly make sense.]

I can understand wanting to protect those you care for. [She is quiet for a moment. She's thinking about those back home. She's glad they aren't here but at the same time, they aren't here. They're back home in a middle of a war. Without her.]

At least you have those you can protect here, rather than being unable to at all and knowing they are in trouble.
