[Hajime launches into story after story, gesticulating wildly and even acting out short dramatizations, providing all the voices to go with them. First there's the story about finding a baby kraken in the south seas, then the time most of their crew turned into monsters, then the time a feast magically appeared just in time for her birthday. She's a bit more subdued when she points out that, over the course of that month, Haruka, Rei, and Makoto all disappeared and she and Clem were left to find a new crew to take them on.
When speaking of her new crew, though, Hajime immediately perks up. She rambles on at length about her captain, a skilled musician who appreciates her artistic abilities, the first made, whose sad face reminds her of Homura's quite a bit, Ai, a boy her age who seems almost as excitable as she is, and Rin, who she always puts on her angriest face for when she does impressions.
Then there's what she calls the "Santa Boat," where they met up with another crew captained by an "actual pirate with an eyepatch and parrot and everything!" and what sounds like a rather motley crew, though clearly her favorite is the one she calls "Ragrumpy," who sounds like he didn't like her at all.]
...aaand then I went to someone's first birthday party! They'd never had one before! Can you imagine that?
