[Musa quietly hums a little tune, not one people would recognise, but to her it was an important song. Especially after having that talk with someone else. It just makes her think of her mother more, especially on special days. Like today. Anyway after a few minutes of hums and a line or two of the song she pauses. She had a few things she needed to say anyway, so best get to business.]

So about the talent show. I am going to check out a place someone mentioned to see if I can set it up there. So if anyone can tell me anything about Deesuko Ballia, I'll be happy to hear it. If I can get there sooner rather than later then I can let everyone know the date. I'm still hoping sometime next month.

[She pauses once more, she wants to ask something.]

So... Officially I'm twenty one today, which would make me an adult in certain places, but you know with being here and all I kind of forgot. It also made me wonder if we'll be here so long that we'll all grow up here. Will we end up adapting to this life, or what? It's kind of a bummer to think about, but a question that I guess one will be wondering, you know.

[She soon laughs lightly.]

Or it's just me, no biggie. Anyway that's all I wanted to get across.

I guess you've got a point. I mean, maybe if the time magic here is that messed up, we shouldn't worry about it too much.

That's great. I'm glad it gathered some interest.

True, but it still make me feel that little older never the less. Being an adult is strange, even though I've probably been one for a while, or at least I've had to act like once for a while.

I think bein' an "adult" is all how ya think of it. Just take a look at the journals, there's plenty of adults who act like kids.

You mean the ones who rush into things? Yeah, I've noticed a few of those and we're not counting the recent curse with adults being children might I add.

Ah, no. It's not cursed, that would just be terrible.

I think I know what you mean, but no where I'm from they aren't cursed.

[Everything was fine and dandy today until Elizabeth heard the message. More importantly, until she heard the second part of the message. Musa is officially twenty one... Today.]

WHAT?!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY?!

[Screaming here and clearly distressed, oh my god, she has nothing prepared!! Sure, she has decorations and all but... Whatever she does it's going to be rushed! She also obviously ignores everything else that Musa said, too stuck on the birthday part. A lady has her priorities.]

[She...should have figured something like this was bound to happen. Probably actually her know would have been a good idea. Well too late for that now anyway.]

I kind of forgot until I figured out the date.

[Which was kind of true, she had been rather focused on other things as of late, like where to head off to next.]

[Well, it's true that it's a bit difficult to keep track of the date here when one is busy. And Musa has been very busy, so... Maybe it's natural that she forgot. Elizabeth didn't ask either and that was her own fault.]

Uhm, okay. I mean, I understand. Besides I didn't ask either, I'm sorry, I should have.

Ah, it's fine. I should have said, or maybe have gotten everyone together and play a game of getting to know you, or something.

[When she thought about it how much did she know about the others that weren't Elizabeth.]

I'm...not sure how long we'll be here, but worrying about something that seems pretty new even for the natives, seems unproductive. We should focus on finding the shards, then just take it from there.

Oh, and happy birthday! [What a dark conversation they're having...]

I'd love to assist you with the talent show, if possible!

You say focus on the shards, but those things only ever appeared like what....every couple of months? We all would be a heck of a lot to be able to even get that chance to have a wish. [In her case she thankfully has one herself and she is grateful for that.]

How would you like to assist?

Well, I'm a performer, first and foremost, but I also have experience with organizing concerts and possibly some PR work. I usually don't handle the latter, though, so I may not be the best. I can assist mostly in any way you'd need.

I think I would have to go with the first option anyway as I can't really do much advertising except on here and the island it will be held on, but I have yet to head there.

So you need help with setting things up, is it? [Is that what she means?] Which island were you thinking?

I'm not going to let that happen to me. I'll look for the shards by myself if that's what it'll take to go back.

Good luck with that if you do, but I've found the location of the shards aren't that commonly found, every month or two at best. So it would take a while to even be able to locate one.

Yeah, I can see why you'll have much more to gain from finding them.
