[Those familiar with Kodachi's dulcet tones would instantly be aware of the fact that she was singing. Quite off-key. And laughing to herself. No, that wasn't creepy at all.]
[This continued for a while, and then she spoke.]
All you small and tiny children running around and calling for your mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers . . . oh, you all make me miss my family so dreadfully! Especially my mother!
[Yes, it seemed that she was aware of the fact that she'd just broadcasted herself humming a toneless melody and had, in fact, done it intentionally.]
[She let out a blustery sigh.]
You see, I haven't seen her since I was a little girl. She's probably off on her adventures, like I am now.
[She paused, seemingly downcast, but seemed to cheer herself up.]
Now that my fiance's arrived, perhaps it's a good time for me to be thinking of the future rather than the past, don't you think? ♥
Little children, what do you believe makes a good mother? Let me know so that I will become the best mother to my and my Ranma-sama's future children!
OHOHOHOHOHO! ♥

A good mother should care for her children. And listen to her children.
She should do the same for her husband, but not be afraid to question him.
But this advice is not restricted to women.
voice
How did your mother show you her love?
voice
[This isn't a topic he should have gotten into. But he owes his own mother this much.]
She always knew the right thing to say when one of us was feeling down.
voice
My mother and I never spoke much, but I knew she loved me because of the way she'd smile when I looked up at her.
voice
But then, a brother shouldn't abandon a brother either.]
Do you live with your father, then?
voice
I live with my brother.
voice
... Ah. I've heard you mention him.
voice
Do you have any family, Itachi-san?
voice
[He'd had more, not long before he arrived.]
voice
voice
Older.
voice
Except when they breathe down your neck about your fiance.
voice
... I haven't yet been betrothed to anyone, so that shouldn't be an issue. I'll keep that in mind for the future.
[Not that he considers marriage to be in his.]
voice
Do you have anyone you wish to marry already?
[Never mind that he's like, 13.]
voice
Nor have I been looking.
voice
voice
[He's not going to outright tell her he doesn't intend to get that far.]
voice
[What, she thinks it's romance-related troubles . . .]
voice
[His tone hardly changes.]
This is just how I typically am.
voice
It does seem like it.
Do you not smile or have things to be happy about?
voice
[It's possible to catch him smile if you're in the right place at the right time.]
I'm simply more reserved than most.

voice
[Though he makes no promises.]
