Ummm... [There was a sound of things getting knocked over and the sound of animals moving about, making their usual noise. It sounded like chaos whatever was going on.]

Question... Does one know how to stop a goat from eating all the food? I've tried taking it off them, but they then eat something else and I've lost a good skirt that way already. I'm kind of running out of options.

[Another loud crash as Lenalee had gone to move.]

Please, let go of that. It might seem tasty, but we need it to last a while longer. [Crashes, stern words being told and bahing were all one could hear for at least two minute before she returned.]

The goat is trying to hit my hair. If it keeps trying to eat everything, I cannot say it will be staying in one piece, so please someone come take him away. [So close to getting angry enough that the goat will be getting kicked off the boat. If that it literally or not is another question.]

Keep it contained. Put it on a metal chain it can't eat through or build it a pen.

If it cannot behave itself it must be taught to do so. That, or it could be used for meat.

We already use him for milk, I don't think we could use him for meat. Would feel just wrong.

Though I guess I can go with the chain thing.... Once I find one of course.

But I understand what you mean, he is a she. That was silly of me to call her a he.

If she's hungry, you should try laying out something that she likes as bait - perhaps under a trap of some sort.

I can do that. Although it might take a bit to actually set a trap.

[She pauses to think about the possible ideas. She could just catch it like she does cats, but that could cause damage to the ship and right now that was not needed.]

How could one make a trap with so little?

That depends. How smart is the goat?

If it's clever, it could take some more thinking. If not, a crate and a stick should do.

But what if we don't have a stick?

As for the goat's smarts, he's pretty much managed to avoid me catching him so far, so there's that.

[He doesn't know anything about your smarts, but that would be rude to question.]

I'm sure there's something around your ship that would suffice.

You could also lure him into a storage closet and shut the door.

[But that would mean losing a lot more food simply to try and catch him. Lenalee wanted to not risk too much in order to get the job done.]

I should really get to finding a replacement stick, thank you and I'll let you know what happens when I can.
