I would like to make a request - especially to those of you who have explored several of the outlying islands.

Could you tell me of your experiences with the natives? If you've run into any that were sentient, that is. Any idea of what's out there, and any similarities between them if they exist, would be helpful.

Even if it's just a unique experience on Empieza itself. Especially if you've had a unique experience on the island, I should say.

We need to be more aware of what we're dealing with, and the more we share with each other the better prepared we'll be. We're not the only pirates on the ocean, but those of us brought from other worlds have common interests.

There seems to be a horde of pirates around Deesuko Ballia. Didn't seem like much trouble though. At least not for the Spade Pirates.

It seems like the natives differ from island to island though. Low tech, no tech, high tech. We haven't hit too many islands yet however.

Depends on who you ran into. Drunk. Disorderly. Dishonest. Pushy. I'd say if you take a crew there, keep an eye on your weak and womanly.

I've noticed that as well. Aeolipile. If I remember right, in the north east. Rich location with a lot of steam powered things. A few members of my crew we're using devices to fly around a bit. I'd think that would be something spread across the rest of islands by now. Doesn't seem to export much. Not sure how well they like pirates anymore though. We were there around the time of the witch crap. Not sure how much of that island was left standing.

You would think. I would think trade would be a larger thing out here. Seems the Navy is a force to be reckoned with for locals, as are the local pirates. Can't say they're much of a match for any off worlders so far.

I wouldn't say I'm writing them off. More just waiting to see if any of them out there is actually worth the challenge. I look forward to finding something battle worthy.
