Week 1
Good evenin’ to ye, lads, lasses and none o’ the above. This be Scurvey Dog fer ye, as promised, as promised. I hope ye’eve all set sail by now, but if ye haven’t, ye’ll like as soon regret it.
Also a fair hint to ye, call it a freebee as you will. Round about 10 o’ the clock in the evenin’ at 12 degrees from the Eastern Horizon, the Mermaid will rise and make her way East to West through the night, toward the palace ‘o the Sea King. She be swimmin’ this course no matter the season, always round about the same time, so if ye get lost the Mermaid’ll guide ye home.
Onto the import of the comin’ week.
News:
The Navy forces’re bein’ pulled to take care ‘o some trouble in the northern reaches. This means it’ll be a bit scant, and not much in the mind to be chasin’ after no bounty pirates (that means ye lot). Not that I’d relax too much. It be only a matter o’ time, after all.
Empieza be in a bit of a ruckus after the disappearance of one of their own. Hain’t been there meself, so I can’t say whose to blame, but they be blamin’ you. In other words, I wouldn’t be headin’ back to that place until they’ve had some time to cool off or find the sod that did it. If he be pressed into service on one ‘o your ships, now be a good time to send him back. Let’s try not to cut off yer lifeline afore ye’ve sailed a month, aye?
Weather:
Fine days and followin’ seas be waitin’ fer ye. Wind goin South by South West afore it moves to a strong Westerly by the middle ‘o the week. That’ll give ye a good start and no mistake. Be on the lookout fer a heavy fog on Thursday mornin’ that’ll last a little past noon ‘afore bein’ cleared up by a fine rain. Temperatures be rangin’ around 20 degrees C (that means 70 degrees F, fer the rest o’ ye.)
And now it be time fer the question o’ the week. Try not to shoot yerselves in the foot this time. Also, let me remind ye and specifically Flynn Rider that there be no sassin’ of the Scurvey, lest ye want to find all the answers on yer own.
[about an hour later]
I'm sick 'o arguin' wi' ye lot. I do what I want and it's how I want. Ye bastards don't like me answers? Ask better questions. As I'm sick of yer whining, all questions fer next week revoked.
[and the Scurvey Dog closes the journal]

Unusual, considering it's an 'ask me anything policy'. I'll choose the easy way.

Die...? But, that's... [Now, he's getting angry.]
That can't be right!

Wait, no!
[Clenching his teeth, on his end, with the next part; and, not to mention, he's possibly bearing down on the paper as he writes.]
I'm sorry.

That seems far too easy . . .

You should've asked for the hard way.

You sure don't have a lot of faith in us.

[GUESS WHO'S STILL BUTTHURT ABOUT THE WASTED QUESTION
GO ON
GUESS]

Maybe next time we should all agree on a question before someone submits one.
Y'know.
To avoid unhelpful answers.
no subject
Agreed. I plan on making the suggestion that we all take a vote each week to see what question gets asked, and who gets to ask it. That way no one can complain, as I should hope the majority of us have enough brainpower to vote on an intelligent question.

Sounds like a plan to me. Two weeks of bad questions and unhelpful answers is more'n enough.
I'd suggest asking what the hard way back home is next week.

It's informative, it just doesn't help our current situation. We'll have to save the question for next week.

I think not dying is the best plan anyone here could come up with.
